I'm sorry to hear about the death of your touchscreen, how is the dispute you filed against the seller?
This kind of experience is giving me a second thought about buying Chinese electronics!
Hopefully i should get my own tablet today or tomorrow!
I do not know if I was lucky or unlucky about the dispute and claim against the seller SXV.
You decide after reading below story;
- The AE arbiter decided to refund me 35 USD as it was exactly my demand and my claim.
As a matter of fact the Arbiter has given to me two options; either to return the item and receive full refund or to keep the item and accept 35 usd refund. My choice was 35 USD by keeping the item..
- The next day, the claim file resulted and ended as per my wish and the money, which holded in Excrow acc, was released to the favor of the seller, my tablet has got screen digitizer failure..
If the failure happened two days earlier I would have sent back the item..
Under this circumstances the seller SXV, I am sure, will not help me to recover my defected tablet.
I remained on my own as Hyundai-digital service (named on the warranty certificate) not responding my emails ..
I was a bit lucky to have refund 35 USD but I was more unlucky that I lost 170 USD the cost of the tablet.
So I acted as per my principles which I never remain silent against unfair treatment and I seek the justice as much as possible..
This time my Justice seeking actions made myself a big looser....
Need a 8 inch capacitive digitizer replacement from now on...
Maybe someone who has rock x can contact either SXV or Hyundai-digital to inquire the possibility of digitizer replacement.
By the way In the Hyundai-digital web page there is a section to verify the pirate productions. When I enter there my tablet production nr the reply comes as 'this production nr is not found'..
Can you all to verify your prod nr also there?
