Firmware update on internal sd card

Is there any firmware update I can use, that I can copy on an sd card that'll install or upgrade from Android 2.3 to version 4.0 from the tablet itself. I have tried the vortex tool and 512 or 1 gig method from the computer using a USB cable etc, but that doesn't work? Or, is there a way to do it if I take the internal sd card out and put it on that? my tab is a SuperPad VI flytouch 6 vortex 8 512 mem, I think the model is MID Android 2.3, a Chinese thingy only 6 months old and bought on ###########?

Open the tab, find its cpu. Search firmware according to tab model number and cpu name, then flash it.
