Help. I've been helping to test the latest rom and started having trouble with my power button and volume rocker. There are little posts under the buttons. The posts on the power button and the Volume + have broken. If anyone has a gTab for parts, I'll buy the buttons.

Any idea if an HDMI cable will work with the new kernel? I just bought the cable from China and don't have a dock... So far no luck on ics or jb

It wont work. To this day I still have no idea how it worked on froyo.

I had same problem with mine, I added a drop of super glue where each post was on the button itself (plastic). Works OK not great but it works
Make sure the glue dries before putting it back together the dot of glue hardens into a bump that will act like the little posts

I was thinking about doing that last night. I actually have one of the broken posts. A Slate Droid member has very generously offered to send me a power button. That is the most critical, as I was not able to power on/off the tablet or get into CWM.

That is the power switch. Its volume buttons and power all in one.

Woke up in the middle of the night last night, cudn't fall back to sleep, so I went on the comPUT and decided to check out Satedroid, see if anything was new

and I checked the "WHAT'S NOT WORKING" list it was empty......

Lol we'll have a lot fixed and if you do a bit of digging you can probably find the "big surprise." Basically we're waiting on our recovery guy to make us a new recovery. The new rom requires an entire new partition layout and NVFLASH package (like the last one did). As soon as we get that finished we'll release.

I'm working on porting CM10 now.i'll get help from them in this process. I've already tried Novo 9 and you are right, the drivers are different and also some modules.

Hariprasaditt going to be working on porting CM10 to the Onda v972. The tablet has awesome protential, but Onda just dont know how to dev. software at all.
