New Firmware For Onda VI40 Elite - 1.4RC3 For Versions 1 and 3

Not sure why they released this if they are releasing jb soon for the elite. Only getting 50-52kb so gonna take awhile.

Changes:

Upgrade to Android4.0.4;
2, improve system performance, further optimization of the connection speed;
3, the increase in OTA's online update function;
4, update the part of the application software. Such as flat-panel user guide contains the tablet external NIC and support list, FAQ, and after-sales network query; Note: The firmware package containing Brush tutorial, before the brush carefully read. 2, query the version number, check the back of the fuselage SN code sections 8, 9;


Just loaded it, it has a new keyboard, and I've already found one issue. If you hold the screen just right the rotate flips back and forth over and over again. Screen lock seems to work though.

I installed V1 on my V1 and the screen was the wrong way round!

Trying the V3 version now....

How do you change it from Chinese to English once in?

I have the same. Its because our devices are with V3 hardware, i dunno why they are labeled as V1, it is strange... I bought mine from onda-tablet.com at the end of may

What about owners of the Vi40 V2, what firmware do you use for that the V1 or the V3 ??

Hi, what about browsing ? Is it still laggy?
