I'm not usually the type to end up here in the "what the bleep have I bought" category, but hey, price was right (sixty bucks) and it's almost riskless nowadays to play about with these things (well, sixty bucks of risk), I'm sort of convinced that it is a clone of the AMPE A73 using the previous (not obsolete) molds, I will know further next week when it's in my grubby little hands...

Same case as AMPE A73 and SANEI N73 but who knows what's inside, perhaps this will be a photoshoot...or a crapshoot...

Conclusion of this little exercise was the return of the tablet because of a dead patch on the screen (only visible under white backgound conditions) and the substitution of an Ampe A76 which I have reviewed in this forum.

I'm also curious as to what it is. I also purchased this item, on an online auction. I can't get Windows 7 to recognize it, and I can't find the manufacturer to download the proper drivers for Win7.
I have nothing bad to report about it, other than I can't connect to my laptop.

Did you try using Livesuite to connect to it?

As you probably don't have firmware yet, you can still see if Livesuite 1.07 or 1.09 will connect.

When you connect the tablet (usb degugging enabled) to your win7 machine, does it add an unrecognized device (with asterix) to the hardware manager, something in the order of USB Device(VID_1f3a_PID_efe8) with a yellow triangle next to it. ie, device, but no driver?

If so, Livesuite may recognize it (I think the program loads the driver while it's active) and the key thing is to follow the instructions for Livesuite which go something like this:

Tablet OFF completely, not sleep. OFF. Not connected.
Start Livesuite.
Select any firmware image (your not going to flash it)
Plug USB cable into tablet (not computer) and press and hold volume +
Plug USB into computer, keep hold of vol+ and press tablet power button about 6-10 times quite rapidly
Livesuite will recognize tablet.

Or should recognize the tablet.

All you need then is firmware, and you should be able to get if from your dealer.

The other VERY brave thing you could try is installing an A10 tablet CWM from the SD card and make a nandroid backup, however, there be danger....

Hello guys! After flashing Yeahpad A13 (Allwinner A13 clone) I have a problem with a G-sensor. When it is in landscape mode it shows to me rotated to 90 degrees to right (in a portrait mode). Can you help me to solve this problem?

I realize that it has been quite sometime since you posted this question, and I hope that you are able to find this response if you are still in need of an answer:
In the display settings there should be an option for adjusting the "Accelerometer Coordinate System"
In my case, switching to the "Default Coordinate System" solved this issue; and, as far as I know, the change has not negatively affected any of the currently installed apps.

I hope this helps.

I know it has been a long time since anyone posted on this topic, but I'm new and in a similar position. I am current winding through a they cheated me, they cheated me not scenario. I received what was listed as an allwinner a13 with bluetooth stuck on a boot. I contacted seller, and despite communication barrier, he sent me an img file. Here's where things get intresting. Livesuit gets to 53 percent, then fails with an error message. I finally managed to get a cyanogenmod loaded, but there are currently no working roms for the a13 that have bluetooth functionality. I eventually tried burning the image to the sd card through pheonixcard, but the installation of mods has caused the boot process to not have the load from sd card functionality. So I can't even get a android with bluetooth onto the tablet to test if there is in fact a bluetooth module so I can call the jerk for cheating me.
Someone please identify this a139(b?) tablet or point me towards an android build for a13 that has bluetooth functionality.

Hello, I am new and I am looking for kernel sources for my Ampe a73 tablet. This forum thread is of interest to me, because if the Allwinner A13 tablet really is a clone of the ampe a73, I could look there also. I will make a more detailed post once I have reached the 3 approved posts stage. Thank you.

i can't start a topic yet but i really need help. i'm new here. bought a zto n51 online from their outlet. worked fine for literally 14 days and then bricked on me for no reason. never been dropped or banged or had sketchy stuff downloaded to it. just turned it off and then on that day and the encryption unsuccessful message popped up. looked everywhere for help. tried all manner of rebooting and resetting but i'm stuck in a reboot loop. i can get it into safe mode but to no avail. i can also get it to the point where the screen stays stuck on the zto logo. company won't return emails, phone number is incorrect, not listed under the bbb either. if anyone can offer help before i take this thing to a batting cage, i'd appreciate. i replied here because the chip is an allwinner a13....ironically.
