Sounds good....presumably through an official JB update on Onda's site?

It's really cool that Onda Vi40 Elite will get Jelly Bean. I hope it makes the tablet function truly more fluidly like Jelly Bean's Project Butter should.

And it will be even more awesome, when the talented devs here get to work on making custom roms based on the Onda JB firmware.

Yes, that will be the key difference going by Onda's own efforts of updates so far.

All the money in building a factory, designing a chassis, commissioning production, and then the money spent on marketing, and one of the most important functions to the user - usability - is done on the cheap.

I don't care if it's a 16-core 1600x1050 retina display: if it doesn't run well, it's (s)crap. Usability is where apple score highly for most people.

David.

Yes, the "can't wait for a fully working Android 4.1" chapter begins...

Or should I say verse, just like in the 99 bottles of beer on the wall song...

"Can't wait for a fully working Android [put elusive version number or specific dessert flavor here]"
Rinse and Repeat, go to chorus.

I wonder what they're going to call version K...

Sorry, just feeling a bit sarcastic this morning, seems that the 4.0.x versions were never working properly, preceded by the 2.x versions (oh, was there a 3.x phase? - must have missed it) - see, there I go again, must need coffee.

Any update on this? Everyone was saying possibly within a week of the announcement, but I can find nothing else about it. I have an Ultimate, but I presume that if they are releasing Jelly Bean for the Elite, then the Ultimate will follow.
