I have an Aurora v3. I opted for feiyu_0622 with english and camera patches (see his thread or his dragon devs forum). I installed it directly over stock rom 0418 with CWM.
I didn't choose ConRom v5 (based on 0622) as some main features are removed and most changes done by ConRom v5 can be easily done manually over feiyu_0622.

I'm having follwing issues:
touchscreen reponds to one click out of two or three !!
Ghost touches occur from time to time => crazy Ainol Aurora tablet just clicks by itself :-)
When reading a book scrolling down the page responds to one slide gesture out of three !!
When in settings for example scrolling the crazy ainol aurora interprets the slide getsure as a click so it opens the setting option instead of scrolling down the setting page !!
Are these software bugs or hardware ones? If soft and fixable I will keep the tablet. Otherwise it is going back to the seller :-(
If these are software bugs do you have any links to latest stable roms, please?
Note: Tha tablet has a very well installed protection screen film. I thought the touchscreen lag might come from this film !!! ANybody replaced this film?
Thanks for your help.

This is what I did (I have Aurora 1 SINGLE CORE, but the same should apply to Auror dual core):
1. update firmware, quarx Cyanogen 10 is is best overall, fast and smooth, you may need different version for Aurora 2.
for the update you will need: a copy of the cm10 firmware, the gapps file, and any touchscreen fix file your particular device needs.
to install the above first install clockworkmod recovery 5.5 or higher, installation instructions are found in the slatedroid Aurora forums.
2. for best browsing experience use Opera mobile. It does not have flash though, for flash use floating browser flux.
3. after the last Netflix update it crashes, a working alternative is this: http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1546053
this is basically all you need to get tablet running properly. For even faster, smoother operation install V6 supercharger script:
the touchscreen problem is likely static electricity from sloppy assembly, it will resolve itself, using tablet while charging through usb will cause touchscreen issues.

Insalled the Aurora : Tools Novotools_v1.0.apk (http://www.4shared.c...otools_v10.html)
Flashed the aurora with with the NovoTools and the recovery image extracted from this file: a10_recovery.zip (http://files.androta...10_recovery.zip)
Flashed the Aurora using with CM10 zip file: CM10-20120901-NIGHTLY-a10.zip (http://d-h.st/users/...d_id=5155#files)
Flashed the Aurora using with the Aurora v03 touch fix : touch_fix_v3.zip (http://d-h.st/users/...d_id=5155#files)
nothing else as I only want to use the tablet as an eReader. But everything is working ok including wifi and all...
