Hi,I need help on this. On my Windows 7 PC, the adb driver didn't install, although when I connect through USB the PC recognizes the device, but in the device manager it looks like unsuccessful installation. How can I solve the problem? I tried it on an XP machine too, but with no luck. Please help.

Did you have a firewall up at the install time ?, sometimes these can cause problems.

Hello dbassman42 I was like you, all day I had been worked to fix this problem and I discovered this... (a lot of hours later....). I was working in a Sony laptop (64 bits) and I got the same errors that you said. After that I worked in a Hewlett Packard (32 bits) and all were good, I made exactly the same steps, when I installed the USB support the first time got an error but after reboot and connect again the USB in the Tablet works good but Windows 7 never said me that it was an "android phone ADB interface", when I opened Open Devices and Printers only appeared how "USB Flash Driv"e and in the PC name showed the unsuccessful installation yet (yellow icon). I wait that you understand me, I don't speak English a lot :)

I'm hearing ya! I was so excited to find a tutorial using a video for the hapless novice, but my glee soon turned to dismay when I also got the dreaded yellow error indicators.... I can't seem to get anything working :(

I found I had to pick Android Composite ADB Interface driver to make it work. Something to do with my device being recognized as an Android Phone first.
