This thread is for the discussion of General Topics and Specs for the Gemei G9T Dual Core
Link: Merimobiles.com - Gemei G9T Dual Core

Hello there to anyone swinging by.

I believe a Gemei G9T Dual Core will be delivered today to review.
I will attempt to populate this forum with more information as time permits.

Gemei G9T Dual Core - First Review - 9.7" IPS Tablet w/ ICS - Purchase at: Merimobiles.com
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKwqAJzef_I

**Update**
I have recorded the video for both reviews and now just need to encode and upload it to YouTube.

1 standard "First Review" overview of the tablet.
The other will attempt to be a side by side and head to head comparison of the G9 vs. the G9T.
- Including benchmarks, apps, games, scrolling etc..

Here is my quick and dirty review:

Physically... it is exactly the same as the Gemei G9.
It is also nearly identical in every other aspect as well... the only difference I can see is the processor.
The G9T runs and feels a bit hotter than the G9, but nothing that has become uncomfortable to hold... just noticeable.

I have run some preliminary benchmarks and can say.
- The G9T outperforms the G9 as expected.

Gemei G9 = 3211
- AllWinner A10 - Performance - Single Core - 1152 Mhz
Gemei G9T = 6518

Thanks for the great video Mr T ! Just watched it and must say
another professional job.

The device looks really solid and the placement of the power
button & speaker is really good. Also, I like the aluminum back.

Looking forward to the second video and later on an update on the
battery life compared to the N90 II.

Thanks again.

Hi Mr.T, I was looking forward to buy this Gemei G9t and found the Wopad i9 that seems very similar to that, is a rebrand of the same hardware?

It seems to be even better since it has a quad core gpu instead of dual core as the G9T

That's not really true, from the wopad website says dual-core.
Same CPU!

I just received the tablet, and testing within a few days.
It is my first tablet, but I think this is a good compromise for the price / thickness / performance.
Benchmarks indicate that performances are better than Galaxy Tab, for half the price.
If you compare it to other chinese tablet for same price, other are thicker, or don't have 2 camera, or don't have hdmi, or lower battery,...

Maybe firmware should be stabilized, and some applications didn't work.
