Cube is getting ready to release their 9.7" RK3066 tablet. Pricing should be close to U30GT.

Some details in Chinese here:
http://www.imp3.net/...hp?itemid=33033

Cube's U19GT will compete against Yuandao N90 II (dual core).

Hi Nickos;
any idea when this will be out?

I'm torn between getting the U30GT or the U19GT. :unsure:

Hi

Any idea when this tablet might be out?
I might put off buying the U9GT2 if it's going to be soon.

Very likely in late June though could be early July. You will know it is out when you see it listed on their product page:
http://www.51cube.ne...ProductList.asp

Best to ask a Chinese seller because they can contact Cube and ask them for release date.

I really think worth waiting to buy RK3066 or 8726-MX tablets. Much more powerful ARM chips. You will get about 2.5-3X more performance over Cortex A8 (rk2918, A10, etc.) tablet.

Agree. I was recently thinking of getting an A10 chip tablet (like the U9GT2), but held off as the RK3066 tablets were to be priced so cheaply. Barring a massive price drop on the U9GT2 and assuming you can hold on for a little bit longer, you'd get way more bang for only a little more buck by following the :good: advice above.

Also, thanks Nickos for the ETA and link.

I couldn't find any info via Google, though sure I must have just missed it.

Am probably going to either get this or the U30GT; just weighing things up at the mo.

Seems that Cube maybe working on U9GT3 also. So another 9.7" choice for you guys.

I believe their U9GT3 is supposed to be thinner, lighter, more stylish with better hand grip version. U19GT has plastic shell? U9GT3 has metal shell?

ie, U19GT their regular version. U9GT3 their ultimate version.

That looks pretty good too!

I don't get the Chinese logic in assigning model numbers though :pardon:

I do see U19GT from an Indian seller listed at INR 20k ($350) and the same guy sells the U30GT at 22k ($385). Even with DHL shipping of $40, getting it shipped from an international site is cheaper :)

Thinking of waiting a month or two - for a drop in CUBE prices. Decided against the other brands - specially ones without frequent f/w updates or an active developer community.

Hi,

Today speak with my supplier in Shenzhen.

CUBE next week offers this tablet U19GT with LG screen, it's similar quality than Aurora 2 screen

I'm waiting one unit to check this...

Hello guys,

What did you decide, if you got the U19GT, is the sound any good? Can you rotate maps with a gesture in google maps/earth?

I just got my U30 and am returning it, the sound is absolutely abysmal (volume and mic) and there are several other things I have mentioned elsewhere on this forum that make it really unacceptable to me.

I'd love to know what to buy too... but the U30GT is lacking in too many areas.

Forget Cube. Too many problems with their U30GT because of bad quality control, faulty parts and design. Read my post here:
http://www.slatedroi...post__p__410060

I suggest what is better to buy for RK3066 tablet in that post.

Hey man;
tbh I went for the Window N101+ in the end; but am currently having to return it due to a battery issue.

I did pre-order the U30GT early on; but cancelled that as I wanted to wait and see what the original N101 was like. By the time I was ready to order, having read good reviews; the revision model the N101+ was out, so I got that.

Just bad luck that I got a bad battery; as the sound seemed good enough to me; but hopefully a repair wont take too long.
