ok

* gemei g2 legacy compatibility zip (gemei as always uses some pervert stuff for their touchscreen definition  and force me to use their kernel)
* onda vi40 ultimate compatibility zip (test camera because it may fail, if it does try to flash the "additional camera modules" from update me and try again, otherwise i'll try one last thing)

uploaded in testing section of comp zips

Wow, I didn't expect a Vi40 Ultimate compatibility pack so soon, I must admit. :D It's a bit late here in Portugal (and I'm tired like hell, I'd surely mess something up), so I'll be trying it tomorrow.

Thanks a lot, once again! :)

ok thanks! obviously didnt know that :)

so now i tried,

flashed orginal FW (after infinite boot problem) with livesuit
pushed CWM and rebooted into recovery
cleared dalvik and battery
cleared data/factory reset
cleared cache
inserted sdcard
flashed main rom from sdcard
flashed google apps from sdcard
flashed compability zip from sdcard
rebooted using CWM

and.......... it didnt work! :( (still infinit bootloop)

From your previous post you stated you were using rom cm9_nightly_20120624.zip and and n10_compatibility_1.2.0.zip that is wrong. Version comp 1.2.0 is for the 20120711 rom. Download cm9_nightly_20120711.zip , n10_compatibility_1.2.0.zip, gapps and
download the file I attached format-internal.memory.zip

Put all four of those files on your external sdcard and leave the scdard in your device. Start fresh by flashing original rom with livesuit. Install CWM and boot into it.
clear data/factory reset you don't need to clear dalvik cache or anything else then install update from zip file choose file from sdcard and install the format-internal-memory.zip that will format your internal sdcard
then choose file from sdcard again install cm9_nightly_20120711.zip, then gapps, then the n10_compatibility_1.2.0.zip, reboot device.

Attached Files

today i've received a donation with a request for sanei/ampe a10/n10 support, before sending the refund i've tried to download this firmware and i've noticed it is using the usual rtl8192cu wifi module (i was pretty sure it wasnt  )
I've tried to do a compatibility zip for cm9 (if it works i'll do one of 1.2 series too), please who's interested try it and report

link

Thank you!
As soon as I can get CWM working (I'm doing something wrong) and then flash the CM9 rom I will report.
Thanks again for giving this tablet a better option.

Hi, I tried to flash this awesome ROM through CWM, but when I select flash .zip it says "Error Mounting /sdcard/", so I cannnot flash a firmware or backup one...

What could be the problem? The internal SD works fine on Windows.

I have a Sanei N83 Deluxe Edition rooted with tasselhof script.

Hope you can help me, thanks in advance.

Hello. Faced such problem, in case of work connection of external data carriers not normally works at this insertion (tried all versions) at me. It is connected once and only after device reset. Other devices are connected without problems. On an official insertion, everything works perfectly (EKEN A90 advanced).

Ok, so I tried the test compatibility pack on my Vi40 Ultimate. As expected, everything worked perfectly except for the camera (camera error, can't connect to camera). I tried installing the stock camera modules on Update Me, but they also didn't work.

Hi, first off, awesome ROM. Made my quadrant scores with my mp907 clone go up from 1600 tp 2100 points.

But here is a problem. There are some games, all from the same developer, that mess up the screen. It's some strange behaviour, because sometimes they simple run like a charm, but other times, the screen goes either blank or messy(I attach a picture at bottom of the post). The sound and touch imput still work, you can touch where the home icon is located, hear the "check" sound and all that. You can poweroff the screen and when you turn it on again it is still messed up. So the only choice is a reboot.
Thr games are from GluMobile developer, mostly happens with SamuraiVsZombies.

Any clue/idea what the problem might be?

Hi all.

I Started Rom flashing but in sec stage gapps could not be flashed (message came as aborted probably signature something) and by mistake pressed reboot before competibility v1.2 applied.

Now it is in bootlooping, how can I enter back to CWM recovery ?
What is button combination to enter CWM for SANEI N83 ?

I have got Samsung phone USB Jig to enter download mode, do you think it is also suitable for this Tablet ?

EDITED

Resolved the how to enter CWM recovery/
Continued;
reflashed rom 1 st part but second stage gapps not flashe aborted due to signature verification failed..

flashing 3rd stage meaning competiblity but the same happens there too. Aborts due to signature verification failure.

If reboots it enters always bootloop..

EDITED

Bootloop finished. Tablet starts but without touchscreen support..

EDITED

Luckily, flashed and returned to the stock ROM by livesuite.

Insistently flashed CM9 again but never installs the gapps and compatibility v1.2. and when boots up remains without touch support.
In both stage it says 'signature verification failed and aborted'

EDITED;

After re-downloaded all three zip files I flashed again and this time Gapps installed successfully but Competibility v1.2 NOT.
Consequently when booted no touch support again..
Verified MD5 and no problem..

what is the solution ?
