I have had my hannspad for about 8 months now and I recently realised that I rarely actually use the thing!

I just use my iPhone or computer to do common things like email, facebook, twitter etc. because they are always on and usually near me.

So thats why I made this thread, I'd like to know what everyone uses their tablet for to hopefully start using mine as much as I should.

Mine lives in the kitchen because my PC is upstairs and laptop usually stays in the lounge. Sits on my breakfast bar and I use it for gaming, web browsing and listening to music / podcasts through a set of speakers, or controlling my Logitech Squeezebox setup. I also use it in bed quite a bit, to watch iPlayer or browse the web and fall asleep to the radio.

1. using the HDMI out to watch downloaded avi's on the tv - used to use for bbc iplayer as well until it came out on xbox
2. casual surfing whilst watching tv
3. internet radio whilst hooked up to a stereo
4. games
5. watching films directly on it whilst traveling

Maybe you should look towards eeeebay!

Thanks for the suggestions guys! :)

If I tried to sell it on ########### does anyone have any idea of how much I'd get?

Might be a great idea

im just reading magazines in pdf form that ive downloaded at the moment

i did buy the pad originally to read books but i bought a kindle a few months ago so i just use that now

i got a cheap HDMI cable of amazon (£1.50) so ive watched a couple of movies on my tv as i dont own a dvd/divx player

my earphone socket is broken but i bought some bluetooth earphones which work fine at home but i wont to use them at work in the canteen on my break but its really noisy & the earphones are not quite loud enough or i would use my tab to watch tv shows as well

I watch Netflix, BBC iPlayer (through the webpage not the app) and ITV Player as well as stream my personal collection through the network using Plex (for video) and BubbleUPnP (for music) and, of course, there's Youtube and TuneIn Radio too. I keep up with my Facebook friends and statuses with it and use the Engadget app to see what's new in tech. The stock browser (am using Team DRH's ICS ROM and it's brilliant!) is more than capable of letting me browse any site I may fancy viewing. I don't game that much on here (at least not until I can get my PS3 controller to pair with it!) but OnLive works perfectly too so I am able to access all the games I have on my account there should I want to. Last, but not least, I read a lot so having access to my Calibre library via my network using FBReader or Moon+ Reader is really useful. I also sync with my Kobo account with it too. I can read PDFs with Adobe Reader and comics with Perfect Viewer and if that's really not enough to satisfy me I can even see whats on at my local cinema using the Odeon app too :D

I use it to see some movies and TV shows on my way home.
Sometimes PDFs too.
