Looks like a good spec and price. I wonder who manufactures it? The N90 name makes me wonder whether it is Window/Yuandao? That would make it quite good for firmware updates otherwise would be dependent on Mc B u b or their supplier.

There are other 9.7 inch IPS RK3066 tablets imminent, although I am very interested in the 10.1 inch Cube U30GT.

Cube U30GT

Other new Cubes mentioned on M c Bub's blog.

R2000 on Pandawill.

WXGD97 on Aliexpress (this one has bluetooth)

P.S. There's a very good thread here on Slatedroid with some interesting performance figures from Nickos-V

I'm looking forward with this tablet. It seems very nice and I sold my 2x Sanei N90 to buy this one. I think it's the best quality/price and performance you will see for a time. Dual core + Quad-core GPU can be just awesome. Anyone purchased it yet? The told me that about 15May will be on stock.

I just looked and found out that McPad = McBub brand name. It is a rebrand. Just like the McPad V7 was rebrand of Wopad V7.

McPad N90 Dual I think is rebrand of Window N90 Dual but not confirmed. If right, then this tablet will be very good. Window is a great brand to buy.

Edit:
From McBub product listing of McPad N90
- Is MacPad an inhouse brand of mcbub? - Yes

Yes, but C908 uses Nufront NS2816M ARM chip. This chip appears to have much weaker GPU performance but I have only seen 1 Antutu Test.

The NS2816 is also clocked very high @ 2.35 GHz in the Antutu test I saw. Chip could get unstable and hot at that clock speed. Better to avoid for those two reasons.

That is good choice to go for. It uses RK3066 and many upcoming tablets will use this chip or 8726-MX. Window/Yuandao & Cube make very good products. So, buying tablet from them means you will get tablet with better quality and support.

Yuandao N90Dual (X2) is 9.7" (4:3).

Yuandao N101 & Cube U30GT are 10.1" (16:10).

Yuandao site

I asked in a chat in Mc B u b site and they told me that the McPad N90 is a Window N90 Dual Core OEM, Yuandao is the manufacturer. The only difference is in the back: the McPad N90 doesn´t have that horrible huge orange "N90" lettering, it´s all white. I ordered one, but i´ll only have it in my hands on July 15. I´ll make a review video then. (Sorry for my bad english, i´m from Brazil. :D )

I received the McPad today. The tablet seems a very very good guess. It is well build, despite it came in a poor damaged packaging - don't know what happend to it. But most important the content was still healthy. The housing is made from robust plastic. On/off switch can be found on the backside. The display is brilliant and clear. No problems using the tablet during charging. All Applications are working fast and responsive so far. I would recommend it!

Hi there vvirtual. I´ve purchased mine, but i´ll only get it on July 15 (my nephew is bringing it to me from UK, i´m from Brazil). I´m very curious to see it, do you think you could post some pictures? Did it come set with english language or chinese? And what about the white back, is it all white indeed? They guaranteed me, but one never knows...
Thanks in advance! Hope you enjoy the tablet! :good:

it came customized and set to English language. ********* obviously tested the device for functionality. e.g. the test wifi was still configured. the back is all white except the camera and the power button. this time ********* was reliable. huh - I am sure you will like it! What a pity that you have to wait until mid of july.

Thanks for the info, vvirtual. I´m relieved to know it´s a good tablet. And i can´t wait to put my hands on it, and July 15 is so far away... Well, have no choice but wait. In the meanwhile i´m gathering all the info i can about the tablet, firmware updates, etc.

I´m very interested in a game called Sprinkle (there´s a free version on Play Store). Do you think you could test it for me and tell about the performance? I´ve read that it requires a fast graphic processor, i´m wondering if the McPad have what it takes.

Another question: did you root the tablet? Was it easy?

sprinkle works fine on cube u30gt which has the same processor, so it should be no problem on the mcpad also...

Hi,

anyone tried to install the Yuandao firmware from Yuandaocn.com?

The McPad is like the BZ version of the N90 II, with the power button on the backside. The latest version of the N90 II is redesigned and CZ. Power button found another place. It seems that it uses also other components. BZ is worth a try for McPad.

Thank you for any response.

EDIT: BZ version of Yuandao software works fine for me.
