Thanks to the user kenlin cumstom I put a rom to put on the firmware ICS officer, would have to charge it via CWM,
I mean putting it in the sd and load through the recovery, which should've started earlier with the application Gemei G2 tools.

Hi isaacfocus. Thanks for your post.

I followed your steps and I could install ISC. I've also installed Sausagescript which works great.

By the way, I found some difficulties:

- Calendar does not sync

- I can only find some of my Google contacts but not all of them

- I miss Gtalk

what you mention, because the truth is that I have not tried, it may be due to incompatibility with ICS, but rarely since the sync with the mail works fine so it should also run the synchronization with contacts.

On Gtalk, try installing it. I leave the link to the apk if you do not find in google play, which is the safest.

Thanks, dude. You rock!

I couldn't install it. When trying to install the apk you sent me (as well as any other apk I found of gtalk) the system shows the error phrase "Gtalk Not installed". I think it may be some issue with the firmware.

Anyway, I'm using IM+ to replace Gtalk and it does the job.

If you get problems installing the tablet test reboot and reinstall. It has happened onceand is fixed, however I will try in mine in case the error was and what happens generallyis incompatible with the version.

If you have IM+, is phenomenal.

I could make calendar work with an app I found in this post. It installs calendar again and somehow make it sync with the Google Account.

It's not the neatest solution, but it worked for me.

tried both firmwares:
noticed the first one G2_V4.00-A4.0.3-2012.03.30.img is more stable, has few ghost touches and when I open maket they are more frequent! location not working as stated on post, wi-fi sometimes disconnects. I didnt step 3 because it cripples my tablet performance, instead I installed the apps manually and everything working fine.

the second one G2_V4.00-A4.0.3-2012.03.30 V1.1.img was very unstable to me, performance loss and LOTS of ghost touches

btw love the ICS boot animation

On the ghost touch, do not worry, it happens to everyone. It's screen issue, I happen to any firmware, gb or ics. Try to install "Sgs touchscreen booster" to see it going. I also do better the first firmware, for me it was more unstable version 1.1

The location of time will not, hopefully in the next script can be resolved


.If you used the script you can 04.090.1.7z option 3 fails, try running the script 04.080.4 and Pass the option 3, you'll see as you work and you will have the tablet rooteada.

First of All I want to Thank You for This post, i just upgraded my G2 to ICS with the help of this Post, but the problem i am facing is with sausage, i am connecting my G2 with PC with Debugging mode, but my vista could not locate Driver for G2, and sausage script does not detect any tablet (checked by pressing 1)

Where I am Wrong or which point i am missing, Please Help me,

Hassan such. If you could update the tablet to ics without any problem, the computer recognizes the tablet so Recognizing the need to follow to pass the script. If it is true that sometimes gives errors and does not recognize it, happened to me several times.

Do not worry, go to this link and downloaded PdaNet for your operating system, install it and follow the instructions you will say, when done reconnect the tablet and test again with the script. Greetings and you tell us.

Catterman such, do not quite understand what you get, when you pass the sausage script,you play directly incorporates the google play, it is true then you have to do a factory reset and then as new.
