I'm find with the Magic Code for apps, but it would be nice if I could actually see all the apps. Is there a way to change my tablet so that I can see all the apps in the Market? I know the Kairosoft games all work on my tablet but I can't see them in the market or download and install them. Other basic apps as well. A lot of things should work but I don't want to pirate apps.

the tablet needs to have a micro SD card, second upgrade to latest firmware using tablet republic (Google it) then try see if you have what you were looking for in market.. if not you have to root the device again use tablet republic and then you will be able to edit build.prop to make market view your tablet as another device e.g. Samsung galaxy s or s2

NOTE: if you make a mistake on the build prop file you may brick the tablet so be very carefull when you edit that file. i will not take any resposability.

Note. Do a back up of your applications this procedure will remove some from you table the mips related only like opera 12.





A - you must have the tablet rooted. if you dont have rooted you can install the following custom rom.

B - Definitly the trick is edit the build prob put other finger print.

use root explorer, or similar, mount the /system file system into R/W mode.
go to /system
make a backup of build.prop file
edit build.prop

find the following lines and update the values.

is: ro.product.cpu.abi=mips

update to: ro.product.cpu.abi=armeabi-v7a

is: ro.build.fingerprint=Ingenic/npm702/npm702:4.0.3/IML74K/1113:eng/test-keys

update to: ro.build.fingerprint=samsung/SGH-I727/SGH-I727:4.0.3/IML74K/107:user/release-keys

or put any other finger print that you are interested in. then SAVE AND EXIT.

Also you need to do the followgin procedure.

1. Open the Market and press the home button to return
2. Go to Settings \ Applications \ Manage \ Running
3. Press "Market"
4. Press "Clear cache" (do not clear data)
5. Press "Force stop"
6. Return to "Settings \ Applications \ Manage \ Running"
7. Press "Google Services Framework"
8. Press "Clear Data"
9. Press "Force Stop"
10. Start Google Market, it must give an error
11. Reboot, once back Market should work, if it gives an error it could need another minute to work
12. Test the access, search Skype on the market, it should return 400+ results including the original Skype and google's apps like maps / streetview / docs and skype

if the market does not connect when boots, restart the tablet again.



Then rollback the ro.product.CPU.abi to mips.

re edit build.prop and change
ro.product.cpu.abi=armeabi-v7a
To
ro.product.cpu.abi=mips

save exit an reboot.

Now you will have he market with more apps and the CPU will continue he ng in he build.prop the same mips.

@tatubias...I did follow your instruction and succesfully see more apps in the market (or play store).

However, there are side effects!!

Many apps came with pinkflozd custom rom 0.8 are gone after reboot.
For example Opera Mobile, Hackers Keyboard, MagicCode, DroidSSHd and Terminal Emulator.
These are some that I can noticed, there may be more.

Did you happen to see the same problem? If yes, do you have any idea what caused it?

Yes that is why I told you to back up before. Doing the procedure.

Re install the firmware. Do the backup of the aps. Then follow my steps and then recover the backup.

This is probably those applications are specifically compilated for mips.

The important there are magic code and opera.
Magic come can be downloaded from xda forum
Opera from opera site or.

Unzip the from in your PC look for the aps and copy them to a SD and install, them
The locations usually is /system/aps

I know I'm a bit late, but it didn't work for me. I followed everything in your instructions, but I'm not seeing all the apps in play store. Do you have any suggestions?
