Sounds cool. A question for those who already installed it: Are you still getting the "XY app stopped responding" message? It's really driving me crazy and I'm hoping this would fix it.

Rebooted tablet as instructed in step 6. Touchscreen now doesn't work...

Same here... how did you fix it? I have downloaded the modified services.jar, put it in ICS\modified and then pushed to the device. What did I do wrong?

edit: I have an Aurora with the older touchscreen if that helps.

4. Upload Services.jar inside "ICS/default" folder to http://android.mimic.ca
5. Download the Modified Services.jar and put inside "ICS/modified" folder.

I'm confused by these steps. I can see how to upload a file from android.mimic.ca but I don't see a ICS/default folder in my ES File explorer. Android.mimic.ca states that Services.jar is located in /system/framework. I can see services.jar in there but this isn't the ICS/default folder and where is the modified folder?

Thanks.

Look for that folder on your PC, not your tablet. It's in the .7z file you downloaded from the first post. You should unpack that folder to your PC (any directory).

Hello,

1st of all, the script should or won't cause your tablet to be fully wiped...

It is the busybox installation... If you fail installing busybox into SYSTEM/BIN directory...

Then, 99% chance of your tablet to self factory reset with 0 Internal Storage...

As far as I know, all Allwinner A10 tabs with ICS and Gingerbread busybox are found inside SYSTEM/BIN...

You can try V6 SuperCharger Menu #2... Its the recommended settings...

V6 SuperCharger Menu #1 is just a basic automated/calculated settings...

Just don't forget to load 99SuperCharger.sh on [SU][Boot] using script manager...

Strange, because I tried to install it three times in SYSTEM\BIN but it kept doing a factory reset. This was on ECR 1.1a. Also, the touchscreen always stopped working when that happened... I then installed feiyu's 0405 mod and it worked fine for the first try. I have to say that ROM alone makes a huge difference in smoothness and responsiveness of the tablet. Coupled with this script it feels like a whole new and snappier device. Thank you for this! :drinks:

Thanks. It's not clear from the instructions for those of us who haven't done this kind of thing before. Though no doubt long term tinkerers weren't confused!

Do you have to put the Aurora into USB storage mode? I'll try and install this tomorrow if I get the chance.
