Not yet it is downloading, and the SmartQ website is so slow I have no idea what the changes are.
When it's here I'll install it to see what's changed.
Should be 4.0.3 if the previous timeline was correct.

I've 40mbps & it's downloaded already.
Btw, Mediafire requires account. :(

edit: Uploading to crocko.com where I had mirrored v1.0 firmware. Uploading & downloading both are fast there & don't require an a/c. :)

I'll put up the link here in few mins. Then u can add it to OP.

BTW when i get the tab must i install ICS 4.0.1 v2.0 and after that the latest one or can i just install the latest version directly? Sumit you know you gotta make a review update with the 4.0.3 version right? :drinks:
At least the guys from SmartQ are reliable in their updates :) I can only hope the ICS 4.0.4 which is currently only on the phones will be introduced on tablets too...from what i hear it's lightning fast :pardon:

Just install the v3. No need for updates in between they are not incremental.

Yes, you can install 4.0.3 directly without jumping to 4.0.2 first. :)
I will definitely write a hands-on-review for improvements in whichever field I notice those & post them in a new thread.

I hope not. Rooting is essential for me as titanium backup won't work without that. Plus I use few other apps which require rooting. I will let u know how it goes.

Same problem as the v2 firmware.

Damn, I'm gonna give it another try if I can remove the touchscreen drivers.

Well from what you're saying it seems the physical buttons are interfering with the normal touch response?!? Hope the guys from Smart Devices can help you sort things out:( such a shame....was really hoping to hear that all problems have been fixed and that it runs like a swiss watch.
BTW Sudden did u root and back up your tablet from the moment u received it and then ran the updates? Or did u simply take the original firmware from the website and used it when you've noticed 2.0 and 3.0 were no good? I mean if u update to the latest version and you have problems can u reflash it with an older version?
