Anyone found the best video player for A10 tablets? I have tried testing a few video player but none of them are to satisfactory.

I have tried:

1) bsplayer lite - can't play in HW mode and slow SW mode
2) vplayer - blank screen in HW mode and slow SW mode
3) mxplayer - HW mode works but some videos no sound
4) moboplayer - HW mode doesnt' work

Also, which codec to install for A10 chips? I mostly tried Arm7 codecs. Tried also on Arm6 for some players.

For now mxplayer seem to be best. Any other players you guys recommend?

I use mx video player. Seems to be best player for me for now except it plays flv downloaded from youtube , the video and sound not synchonize using SW. I have no problem with other format because it can play all hd rmvb, wmv, and mkv smoothly.

Btw, have u using latest firmware?

Tried moboplayer, it plays flv without video, you can only hear the sound. So I go for mx

Use ArmV7 for allwinner...

yup, mxplayer seems to be best candidate right now. But it is still not perfect. Just wondering if there are any other video players out there suitable for a10 chips tablets.

I have tried using both feiyu 4.0.3 (on aurora) firmware and feiyu 2.3.4 (on advanced II). Feiyu seems to be creating excellent firmware for ainol tablets.

The 2160 stock player for 1080 stuff, plays beautifully and can stream 1080 via hdmi to a tv, superb HD player.. but pretty much useless for everything else.

MX player for everything else.

Have you tried SW (fast mode) in MX Player? On my Elf it plays .flv perfectly.

Really, I found 2160 Player doing quite well on my Elf with lower res video. Can't play flv though. But I think it's easier on the CPU. I'm using Clean ROm 1.1a, playing 720p video while charging, and it hardly heat up at all. And the battery meter was going up, though a bit slow, while on some apps it went flat or even going down cause charging couldn't keep up. Was worried about the heat since Feiyu cautioned against using while charging, but it turned out well. :)

I'm currently using mVideoPlayer HD. I like how it sorts tv shows and movies and I love the fact that I can download subtitles directly from the app!!

MX Player is now the best, hands down, since it allows turning off the 2160p default subtitles... :)

mxplayer is the best. If HW mode video works but with no sound, just change to SW mode. No problem at all.
