Sorry. I don't understand what You ask. If You will use all the 1 GB internal memory that You will have no available memory in the /mnt/extsd (/mnt/extern_sd). That is all.

P.S. I'm testing new universal version of the script for any mount points and any devices now. The new version will edit (not replace) original file vold.fstab. So, I hope, it will run and will switch cards, if it will possible for any devices.

First of all You need be shure the transfering is effected - see Settings-Memory. (I have not tested the script for all firmware and tablets and I can't be shure that any firmware has identically mount points and mount devices. I'm testing new universal script for any devices now.) If the script make wrong modification You will need restore Your backup vold.fstab manually or reflashing the tablet (without formatting). Don't worry - no data will lost.

Second - try to reformat (low level format recomend) your card and try once more.
Try to use other card.

I don't know. I plan post new universal version the script in nearest time. You can try to use current version (reflashing firmware may be nessesary) or wait couple of days for new version.

actually there is 2 partition shown as internal storage 1st 1GB n 2nd 5.7GB...so really need to know is:-

1. why the tablet have to 2 partitions for internal storage?
2. why only 2nd partition can access via computer?
3. what will happen if we use all storage in 1st partition..any bad effect to our tablet?

2. 1 GB storage has internal structure and user can make wrong modification. So 1 GB partition has not access via computer.
3. You need ask the question in xda-developers forum. I don't know.

I don't tested the script for Ainol Elf with elvish rom. It is possible the ROM has different mount points in compare with original firmware. Try to restore (manually) vold.fstab from elvish rom and try to use new universal script.

i want to show something maybe this could be helping.
I have xoom with this at the setting.(using team eos latest roms)

you can see the internal storage is one and that is 32 GB

you can see the applicatian storage is 32 gb

you can see the running application use the 1 GB memory- something for android operating system

but for aurora i see 2 internal storage 1GB and the 8 gb.
and the application use the 1 gb to store the apps
that what making aurora cannot install alot of apps.
how can i change this
can i use your scripts?

EDIT: i already tried you script and it just switch the EXTSD with INTSD
nothing happing with the RAM.
try to install alot of apk into aurora and you will see what happen
i hope someone figure it out.(we are already running ICS and we still get not enough memory for application)

Yes, this work with ANY TF-card (microSD). You can use 2 GB TF-card also, but it is very small . You can use 64 GB TF-card if your device can work with it.
You can use a lot of TF-cards with different capacity and replace it during works as You need.

So, for example, expand /data aka /dev/block/nande to more than 1G while shrinking the "internal SD" nandi?
or remove the internal sdcard at all to get a full 6GB internal storage?


i sucessfully changed partition sizes of my Ideos X3 but there's no mtd parameter in the boot.img of a Ainol...

You do not need switch SDvUe before. You need start it after.
Update to feiyu mod 4.0.3 (0429), boot completely, then start switch SDvUe.

this is what we need but i dont know how to do it.
until this is solve. we can only install maybe 20 apps and no more space to install anymore.
