ClockworkMod rom collection

So we have a working clockwork mod recovery which allows much easier recovery and safer flashes. It's a lot more flexible and will save us from getting a lot of bricks. Unlike the stock recovery this one has a gui and working adb service as well as a lot of very useful tools built right into it. I thought it was a shame that we went to all the trouble to build it and only include it in the Ice Cream Sandwich rom which few people use at this point. I've included it in all of these roms so that you can flash back and forth between them without ever having to see the stock recovery again. This list will grow as I get more time to work on fixing them up. This list is entirely composed of s10 roms because recovery works with them. The sh20opdn rom has been modified to be s10 based as well. This means you will need to follow the wiki instructions to downgrade to s10 and then install one of these roms. If for some reason you do not follow these instructions and you flash from an sh20 based rom you will find that along with the danger of a flash loop you might encounter a swapped sd card state in which the device believes that your internal sd card is really your external sd card. To recover from that state you will have to place the rom you want onto your internal card and then cwm will see it and allow you to flash from it. This is pandigitals fault they decided to swap sd card ids in their sh20 kernel.

ClockWork Mod Recovery Instructions:
Enter recovery the same way as always by holding volume up and power on power up. The buttons are different than you will expect we use the touch screen as "enter" or "select"
The button mappings are:
vol_up - up
vol_down - down
power - back
tap the screen anywhere - select

Be careful not to touch the screen accidentally.

I'll take a look at the wifi issue in 2.1.1
As for cm7 I'm working on a new version.

2.1.1opdn just had a few permissions issues I'll repack it and upload a new version but it is also splitting the external sd card in half because I switched kernels and reasigned vold ids but the script to partition the internal card is still active it's just attacking the external. It must be in ramdisk I'll dig around. avoid this rom for a bit till I get it straightened out

*new 2.1.1 build up fixes wifi but not the sdcard issue

if anyone knows what script is responsible for the partitioning let me know

What about /system/etc/init.smdk6410.sh?

Code:
mkdir /data/app<br />
mknod /dev/mlc b $major $minor<br />
/system/bin/fsck_msdos -p -f /dev/mlc<br />
## maybe the device node deleted by android here<br />
mknod /dev/mlc b $major $minor<br />
mount -o uid=1000,gid=1000,fmask=0000 -t vfat /dev/mlc /data/app<br />
Edit: according to this thread, partitioning of the sdcard is hardcoded into the /system/bin/vold binary.

i downloaded the updated version of the cm6 it got stuck after reboot on the intro between the dark blue pandigital opening screen switching to the black android screen and yes i'm on s10 (been going back n forward between ics n cm6), but when i use the original thread everything is just fine don't know if new cm6 file is corrupt, tried it twice same thing. is there anyway we can get the gapps on the cm6 i currently have slideme, applanet, amazon & pandaap but no gapps. by the way cm7 won't let me install amazon, slideme or pandaap but applanet installed and was working but overall it's straight ,browser a lil slow but it's still cool just have to go back to 6 for my music but that 7 yeah it look real nice

I spent a few hours trying to get some of the audio libs from cm6 to mash into cm7. I still haven't fully explored the audio aspects of android I'm trying to figure it out. I managed to compile most of the alsa stack but I'm missing the piece that calls the interface up. All I have to work with is ti omax stuff and pre compiled pieces from other roms. I wish I had raps device tree for cm6 to look at but it wasn't in his patches.

Great post and work!

Thanks! When I get home I'm going to try one of these ROM's on my dad's WPDN. Currently it's running a 2.2 S10 based ROM that when you try to turn on the WiFi it turns on and off and on and off on it's own repeatedly. Once it's on it doesn't stay enabled for more than 10 minutes. Also the volume rocker doesn't work for volume, it works as the back and home buttons.

Hopefully either this CM6 or CM7 (once Audio is fixed) will be the solution to these issues. Mainly the WiFi issue is the most annoying.

Ugh! Hey guys has anyone gotten the "can't mount sd card" when trying to flash in Clockwork???? I'm running 7.2 that I flashed using stock recovery off the internal card from kewlguys sh20. I want to go to kewlguys sh10 so I can watch Youtube videos, The tubemate app off the slideme market works well. The Pandigital updater will not even get me back to stock it can't find my serial number and says something about a exception when trying to use it, I have kewlguys sh10 on both my internal and ext sd cards and still tells me "can't mount sd card"
