Hi All,

So I have been diligently working on this script and testing it to make sure it works how I plan.
This is sort of a combined script based off of the work of myself, Ivanz, & Almaz's script from the Aurora forums.

I call this a "Superscript" because it is essentially an all-in-one solution which allows you to pick and choose what you want to do.

Download Link: AndroidTabletFirmware.com - Tasselhof - Root, Market & Tweaks Script - AllWinner A10.rar
- Updated to correct graphic display issue with Market. YEA!!!

Alternate Download Link: FileDropper.com - Tasselhof - Root, Market & Tweaks Script - AllWinner A10.rar

[hr]
It has also been suggested that using a download assistant type program can prevent corruption/timeout issues with AndroidTabletFirmware.com:
Here is a basic on as a suggestion/try: Download.com - Internet Download Manager
[hr]

**PLEASE NOTE**
This script was created and tested based on the MOMO11 bird firmware.
It should work on the other firmwares without issue, but may not disable and remove all of the "junk" apps.

As ALWAYS - PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK

Here is the script Menu when you run it:
Make sure to enable USB Debugging on the tablet
- Settings -) Applications -) Development -) USB debugging (green checkmark)
'
1. Check Tablet Connection
2. ROOT - Gemei G9 - Using Transformer ROOT Script
3. Replace the Build.Prop to enable additional apps in market
'
***** ADDITIONAL OPTIONS *****
4. Install System Tweaks and Files
5. Remove the Built-in "Junk" Chinese Apps
'
***** DISABLE/ENABLE SYSTEM SERVICES *****
6. Disable Services to Increase Battery Life
- Such as: Phone, 3G, Bluetooth, Provision, VPN
7. Re-Enable All Services
8. Enable Only 3G Services
9. Enable Only VPN Services
'
10. Quit and Reboot Tablet (Preferred)
'
Choose Option (1 thru 10):
Here are what the options will do:
1.) Verifies that the tablet is connected and recognized by the system
2.) Runs the Transformer ICS ROOT script which has been confirmed to work with the MOMO11 bird firmware (this will reboot the tablet a couple times)
3.) Replaces the existing Build.Prop with a modified and tweaked one that contains a Market Key based off of the Samsung Galaxy SII (should open up more app compatibility)
4.) Installs various system tweaks and settings (purely optional to run)
5.) Removes as much of the pre-installed "junk" apps to clean up the system
6.) Disables the Phone and VPN services to attempt to increase battery life
7.) Enables the services disabled in number 6
8.) Selectively enables only the phone/3G aspects
9.) Selectively re-enables the VPN aspects
10.) This will close the command prompt window and reboot the tablet, which I advise you do if you ran options 3, 4, and 5
Here are my detailed instructions for what to do after flashing the firmware to your device to get it to a "normal" English state:
1.) (OPTIONAL) Install with format the MOMO11 bird ICS 4.0.3 v0.9 firmware
2.) Boot the tablet and connect it to USB.
3.) Click the Blue Square button (to cancel the tutorial)
4.) Change the language to English
a.) Click on the Time (give it a second to come up)
b.) Click on the Settings Icon below the popped up time (three lines with sliders)
c.) Click on the Settings Icon at the bottom of the popped up list (same icon)
d.) Scroll down the Left Hand side and click on the icon with an A
e.) Click the first field on the right hand side
f.) Select your preferred language (for me it would be English (United States)
5.) Change the Default Keyboard in the same settings page as lanuage
a.) Click on Default
b.) Click on English (US) - Android keyboard
6.) Set the Date, Time, and Time Zone
a.) Click on Date & Time along the left hand side of the settings
b.) Uncheck Automatic Time Zone
c.) Click on Select time zone and set it to yours
d.) Verify the time is correct and change it if needed.
7.) Configure the Wireless Settings
a.) Scroll up to Wi-Fi on the left of settings
b.) Turn on Wi-Fi with the toggle switch
c.) Connect to your Wireless Network
8.) Exit the Settings

Now we use the script!

1.) Download the script file: LINK and extract the folder
2.) Ensure your tablet is connected by USB to the top MicroUSB port (near headphone jack)
3.) Double click on: !RUN-ME-Tasselhof-Root-Market-Tweaks.bat
4.) Use Option 1 (verify the tablet connection)
5.) Use Option 2 (ROOT the tablet, will reboot twice)
6.) Use Option 3 (Update Build.Prop)
7.) Use Option 4 (Install Tweaks and Files)
8.) Use Option 5 (Clean-up tablet)
9.) Use Option 6 (Disable unused services)
10.) Use Option 10 (Close and Reboot the Tablet)

There are two additional apps that you can manually disable:
MOMO软件中心2_0.apk
UC浏览器_20120110.apk

Go to your Apps by clicking the button in the upper right corner of the Home/Desktop screen.
Click and hold on the Chipmunk looking icon at the bottom (UC)
Drag it up to App Info at the top.
Click on Disable
Repeat this process for the MOMO icon
ALL DONE

You are now all done and should have a relatively blank slate to start from.
You will be prompted to configure your google account when you open the Android Market.

Enjoy!

This is really awesome!!
There were some apps that I want to install
but I couldn't do it because of incompatibility.
Now I installed all of those apps.
This script worked perfectly!
One single tear of joy is dangling from my left eye.
Thank you~ MrTasselhof and his talented friends.

okay so after applying your super script i seem to have a small problem, when i want to download a new app from the market and click on download, the download window appears where it lets me accept/download and lists all the permissions.
well this little popup dissapears after one second. so i have to be real quick to click on download or else i have to do this again. this behaviour seems kinda odd and i dunno why it does that. might be the bravia drivers? or some other files or tweaks? is there an option to remove the additional files?

i hope you can understand what i mean

i just deleted cache of the market, didnt help. download popup appears and then dissapears again

I am experiencing a similar issue... I have tried to isolate by changing th build.prob, but no luck.
I haven't tried reinstalling the firmware yet and checking before applying anything.

that appears to be the next step to determine of it is the build.prop, tweaks, or junk removal.

btw... There are two options in the meantime to deal with it.
1) click or drag around/near the button a d it will work/appear.
2) click the home button to exit market, the click the running apps button and go back in to the market.

thanks for trying/testing

I have done some further tests and the issue appears to be with the build.prop section..
I really need to make a backup of the original

Will keep looking/working on it.
Thanks!

I have fixed the graphic display issue with the market.
If you haven't already downloaded and install the script, then you are fine to use the above.

If you did already download the script and/or used it... re-download it and re-run option 3.
That should fix the issues.

If it doesn't, re-flash the firmware without formatting.
Then re-run the script options.

Thanks!

Ok.
You can always just use pieces and parts or none at all.
Sorry it didn't work out for you

I have tried filedropper, but it fails everytime.
Other more common sites have a 200mb limit so they won't work unless I split the file which I have been working at avoiding.

Yes, I know thanks. But I have G9 so was confused which one to use.
So to confirm. I have to install MOMO11 ICS firmware on my new G9 to fix the market issue and the instructions to follow are below right?

Here are Install Instructions:
1.) Download the File
2.) Extract the folder inside the .RAR file
3.) Connect your tablet with the USB cable and verify that it is discovered and installed on your system.
a.) Right click on My Computer
b.) Left click on Manage
c.) Left click on Device Manager
d.) Verify that the device is installed or that you don't have an Yellow Exclamation mark devices.
4.) Unplug the USB from the device
5.) Right click on the LiveSuite.exe and run as Administrator
6.) Click the first button in LiveSuite and browse to the firmware .IMG
7.) Hold the Volume + button while plugging in the USB cable
8.) Press the power button 6 to 10 times until the system discovers the device and LiveSuite prompts you
9.) Choose whether you want to format the device or just upgrade the device
10.) Let the magic happen
11.) Tablet should reboot itself when the update is completed

Pls confirm. (Sorry, I am just worried not to brick my tab as I have once bricked my HD2 phone)

Well dude if you buy from a good company, they will never send you clone. From where did u buy? I bought from Aliexpress.com and the seller was SOC Electronics. The good thing abt the website is I can open a dispute if they send bad product before the money is released to the seller.

I bought from a seller on ebay Hong Kong.
Ebay with Paypal has good buyer protection.
I wanted to buy from SOC Electronics on Aliexpress but I was afraid to buy a crap product . I read on many Chinese reviews that there are a lot of screen problem on G9 ( death pixel, lighting,...).

It's been a while since anyone has added to this thread so I hope it's still active as I have a couple of questions...

1. I would feel more confident trying this mod on my Momo11 Bird if I've managed to backup my setup, but the most complete way to do this I believe is using Titanium Backup. Would it be easy enough to run the Tasslehoff Root script (option 3) and then install Titanium Backup, backup my system and then continue with the other options/modifications?

2. I've currently installed the customised firmware 'MOMO11Birdandroid 4.03.20120515' and am considering updating with the latest firmware 'MOMO11 BIRD-4-Neutral-0522' before running the Tasselhoff modifications. Should the Tasselhoff scripts run fine with these latest firmware updates and/or has anyone successfully done this with either of these new firmwares? If not would I be safer retro-installing a previous firmware 'MOMO11小鸟版_android 4.0_20120317' or 'momo11.20120229'?

This is all new to me, so any help appreciated. Thanks.
