My method worked. :D
Inner SD card instead of the /sdcard location loaded to /sdcard2 and external sd card loaded to /sdcard instead of /sdcard/external_sd ... It is mean I "lost" the 2.5 gb inner partiton, but the external SD card works great... all of the apps reach the dates from it. :)
I can continue testing this rom. :)

Btw in my opinion this trick also good for 2.3 because you don't have to use your inner sd for storing application data :)

Russians do not report (as yet) any problems concerning internal sdcard. There is one problem after flashing with MPTool - tablet hangs after screen calibration. To avoid this problem before flashing with MPTool in 'setting' you should choose DDRType '8bit 512M'. So be carefull using this tool. I think, it is better to use reguler vortex flash tool. Also russians say they can't get root access.

Gaboros,

which flash version does it use? 11?
are there APN/3G/Mobile internet settings present?
is bluetooth setting present?
does GPS work?

Can you test Google SkyMap? I have two problems using this pogram on my 2.3 android (firmware 20111205): 1. map is always vibrating; 2. when I trun on "Night Mode" screen becomes totally black. Same problems on 4.0 android?

If there is possibility (APN settings) to connect 3G modem, maybe I'll try this version.

Sorry I could answer these questions because I flashed back 2.3 because I couldn't move app to SD even with my trick. ICS is lot better but not for regular us yet in my opinion :)

Here it is. Use it with this:
ADB push vold.fstab system/etc/

But I changed my mind, don't use it with 2.3. It is true it is change the sdcard and external_sd card location so your apps recognize your externalsd card as a "normal" sd card, but app to move still move them to the externel_sd card location (which is the inner sd card now because the change). If we could change to app to sd location too, to the sdcard location it would be good, but I don't know how... any idea? :)

Edit
maybe: "adb shell pm setInstallLocation (number here)" will work but I don't know... I will found it if I come back home. :)
If this work with this and the fill give above, you could use your normal sdcard at /sdcard location for everything even for applocation moving and your the inner 2.6 gb sd card could be used just as a simple partition for document storing :)
In my opinion if you don't use that partition that hard the before it would decrease the booting time too. :)

Sounds like a good idea. Let us know if it works :)

ICS 4.0.3 very good. After one day of using 3.14 this is my experience.

Very good firmware, I was able to do nearly everything except:

Bluetooth dongle was working in 2.3 (BT 2046) but not in ICS (I use BT because I'm earing impair and need it to use my bluetooth headphone)
Some app have problem cause SDCARD has report.`(thank's for those working on it, even if I do not understand how to do it yet root or not)
When the unit in standby the wireless stay on, so use a lot of power. (turn off manualy before standby) Was automatic in 2.3. (Solved read next post)

But the amazing thing I checked is the ability to read bluray file smoothly even a 30G movie. I have very poor reading in 2.3 even for avi and have to reencode all my bluray. Now It's great!

Did you changed DDRType to '8bit 512M'?

It is very hard to understand who is using what. One uses MPTool, another uses vortex flash tool, different firmware versions etc. My source: http://4pda.ru/forum...=284630&st=1600 You can try to use Google Translate to translate from russian language.

Edit: not so bad, Russian-English translation

I use the 3.14 file. I replace the vortex.pak in the chinese v10 firmware12# utility.

Serge Bolduc:
OK... On this thread now.

What I am saying is that I am surprised that we have such different results with the same tablet  . I flashed the new ICS (build 0314) over the virgin (untouched / unmodified) stock V1 image. However for some reason your accelerometer works and mine doesn't. Also my tablet crawled especially when viewing web pages yet yours is fast.

Why such different results?

Did you flash your tablet with build 0314?
Also did you flash this over the stock V1 image?

My tablet was on V10 firmware12# for last few week, like I said, I just replace the vortex.pak and flash it. I don't konw why your having those issus. Do you use that vortex utility (chinese) maybe there are parameter for the tablet?

I don't know what firmware12# is. I just know them by v1 (original). V2 (second release). and then all the ones after that I know by dates. Eg: 12/27/2011 , 1/10/2012.

I used the English flash tool and "vortex_flash_fajue_core_128x8_512M.ini" for the .ini file.

I don't remember where I get it but I can post it to you without the vortex.pak (500k)

Bremerton,

are you assured about your device hardware specifications? Is it really Cortex A8? Are you sure about that? Donwload from market 'Android System Info' app and check CPU infromation. If you have Cortex A8 you should see 'ARMv7 processor rev 2 (v7l)'.

I am 110% certain. I have ran diagnostics before and am a regular poster in the superpad 6 cortex A8 thread. I have flashed this tablet with V1 and used the zip update for V2 in the past. Rooted it. The whole nine yards. I doubt it would even boot if it wasn't.
