I've found no replacement folders for 2n/3n in this content. So it is only for 3a.
Mine is 2n so go to bed now.

I'm pretty sure this was just a full version ROM for the 3a model tablets that were having touchscreen jitter issues, atp did post a patch, but I guess they wanted to put up a full ROM version also....

if 3a, and jitter, we will offer a patch this days.
if 2n/3n , just calibrate it.

you should check your barcode

remember, if charging jitter, don't use this. this will less performance when charge in.we will continue to improve it.

Ok, so I have the 3a tablet...

Updated last week to 20120211 succesfully..
Now I have downloaded the latest...
Copied on SD..
Camera Button + Vol+
started update

Device /dev/block/cardblksd1 mounted
Formating /system...
Formating /cache...
Formating /data...
Formating /media...
E:format_volume: fdisk.media failed on /dev/block/avnftl3p1

--update oem package---
install zt-update/system.zt280.tar.bz failed
install oem update package failed

so now I'm stuck in the Android system recovery utility... !!
Tha volume button goes up and down to the selections (reboot/apply update etc)..
WHICH is the ENTER button to execute the reboot!?!??!!
or do I have to wait for the battery to die?!??

Thanx

There's a pinhole reset right next to the usb port for ethernet, just stick a paper clip in there and it will turn off the tablet....

TP Firmware patch? what is this? I don't see what they mean with this :)

EDIT: Must be Touch-Point? In any case no 2n version as of yet it seems. Weird.

I thought it meant the video format TP.
Yes, a 2n version would be nice.

Do you think upgrade to kernel 3.0 or 3.2.7 (latest stable version)?

Version 3.2.7 correct power consumption issues introduced in previous versions (really the problem was corrected from version 3.2.5)

yes, as far as I can tell...
I rebooted with the reset hole, (same SD/same files..didn't touch them)...
Camera+ Vol+,

The only error during update was this

E:format_volume: fdisk.media failed on /dev/block/avnftl3p1

but then everything continued successfully..

I haven't really "played" with the new kernel, but for like half an hour
I accessed web sites etc, didn't see much difference than the previous version.

When you say there is a jitter problem, is this the problem when I press the
power button and it "flashes" before shuting down the screen?

Thanks for clarifying that atp. I also look forward to kernel 3.0. Maybe 900 mhz or 1 GHz CPU clocking would be great B-)

I have exactly the same problem, word for word, but the tablet won't reboot after resetting with the pin.
switching it on after hard reset results in the initial splash screen followed by the android icon , which doesn't go away (I waited 20 minutes ) retrying the firmware update with 'camera' 'power on' results in fdisk.media failed messages again.

I have a bricked C91 :( any ideas how I get get out of this ?

As a 'last straw' I reformatted the tf card and put zt-update on it again - it worked this time - though I had to start again setting up the apps etc - but at least it isn't bricked anymore.

I suspect my 32gb tf is faulty - I'll be replacing it asap

I had the exact same problem and a "novotek package" couldn't install. The C91 continued booting but then had a jitter issue and I couldn't use the keyboard (ramdom letters wherever I touch it)
I could install the 2.3 firmware with no error message during formatting.

I've tried to redo the update : I had the message "E:format_volume: fdisk.media failed on /dev/block/avnftl3p1" but then the update continued with no errors. On first boot the wallpaper was not "centered" but it was after a reboot.

What should I do if I have the screen problem again? Should I install the patch?
Now it seems to work but what should I do if I had
Zenithink ZT-280-C91 3a (ICS 4.03 20120222)
Ainol Novo 7 Elf (ICS 4.0.3)
