Hi, as mentioned in the title, I haven't been able to copy and paste files from the PC directly to the device. It says, "The parameters are incorrect". Just a few files move, but most don't. Not cbrs, mobis, mp3s, apks, zips, nada. Can't get any of them in.

However, it is achievable through a USB flashdrive, so that's how I get by for now. Any way to work around this? I'm on ICS 4.0.3, still using stock rom for now.

Sounds like a disk error, you should run a checkdesk (if on windows, enable all options when checking the disk, including fixing errors).

Otherwise make sure that you are copying to a directory that you have access to like /mnt/sd or /mnt/extsd

Alright, will attempt the repair tomorrow morning and will provide feedback as soon as I get results.

Checkdsk worked. Now I can transfer files over directly from my laptop. Thanks, Dr. Martin!
