Been playing around with this thing and everything seems to be ok. I have not had any problems but I came across a couple.....

The camera on skype does not work......I get green bars, a frozen picture and flickering pictures back and forth...

Also, I cannot get the camera to scan any type of bar code whatsoever.....

Any known issues??

Running 4.0.3 with lordbsm script...

Hi,

You probably cannot scan barcodes because the camera on the tablet does not have an auto focus.

I've seen others complain of pink bars when Skyping.

Does anyone know if this is a ICS issue that can be remedied by running GB instead?

Really??.......I wont be able to do any bar code and or qr's???

If so, that sucks, and seems kinda odd that such an essential function is not present......???

Try the latest ICS ROM first which just came out yesterday or so. Also Skype should work, if it doesn't work in ICS then you need to find a patched version or downgrade to 2.3.4 android. In regards to bar scanning, it should work, just play with different ROMs.

Hi, I don't actually have the Aurora I have the Ramos W6HD which I am very pleased with by the way.
I just wanted to say that I have similar issues with Skype with the Ramos whereby the sound and my picture and incoming picture are all fine on the Ramos but the problems seem to be entirely on the other end of the call.
My brother lives in Australia and he said there was distortion in the sound although he could just about make out what I was saying and that my picture suffered from the pink and green bars mentioned by others.
The Ramos is running ICS 4.0.3, I really hope some update by Skype or the Ramos firmware can sort out this issue as having fully functioning Skype video conferencing will be so cool!
I have a feeling that one fix probably associated with ICS will work across the Aurora and the Ramos tablets.

Actually you need to downgrade Skype, i'me not home at the moment but I'll post the file that works perfectly on any ics 4.0.3 including my onda vi40

Hi its working but very very dark camera, newer version loads camera very sharp/clear but other party cant see us due to pink lines.

UPDATE...

Skype is down again with the new .09 firmware..

.....tried the different skype versions posted including the one from the market and none work...

On a side note, flash is not working either...

Any options out there??
