Cube/N90/V2 are all pretty decent. Definitely better spec wise than the ipad 1 (I believe) and the screen is definitely the same as the ipad 2 (if not brighter) because I've had a side by side comparison.

I'm using ICS at the moment (one of the latest visture v2 roms) ((going to switch to wackym cube 1.07 mod tomorrow)) but it runs really really well.

If these tabs had video out/hdmi and can add in bluetooth support them they would be perfect!

Quality is 98% (my tab is slightly loose around the front camera area but it's down to the metal shell I think. When its warm it's loose... when cold it's fine.)

This is my 3rd Chinese tab and it's definitely the best. I bought a high end Malata and a Rena 3 before this.

My advice is find out if it has support on forums. if yes then you're half way there because there are brilliant people modding the ROMs.

The screen makes the difference too. I love looking at photos and movies on the IPS display. Brilliant!

If you want 100% app support then buy branded. I've used this for web/social media/movies and music and some other apps and games and it's been great but it won't support the high end games that I love on my iPhone and if you want it too then you'll need to be able to tweak it yourself or wait for a mod.

For the price these are brilliant. I bought my girlfriend a kindle e-ink for xmas and thought I'd spend a bit extra on my OEM cube u9gt2 from Merimobiles.

It does 90% more than her kindle with ease. Full colour magazine are brilliant and books are easy to read on the ips. Plus web/apps/music/etc.etc. and you have a clear winner.

I have a Cube U9GT2. Unfortunately, due to the RK2918 processor being a bit underpowered in the GPU department it doesn't hold a candle to the iPad 2 as far as gaming goes. The best tablet for comparing to the iPad 2 right now is the Onda Vi40 Elite. The screen is just as pretty as the one in the U9GT2 and the A10 processor does significantly better than the RK2918 processor. I like the build quality on the cube a bit better and I think the battery life is better (I need to test this) but as far as the gaming performance goes, A10 all the way. I will release a full comparison review in the coming weeks.

The iPad 2 is still the better device for the majority of things but it is also $100 - $300 more expensive. I am not a Apple fanboy in the least. If I had lots of money I would spring for an Asus Transformer Prime if anything.

My 2-Cents,

Roman
