hi, I'm new to this site so hope I am posting in the right section.
my wife has bought herself a tablet, she has only had it a few months and it is playing up. I cannot contact the person she bought it from, so I am hoping I can get some help on here.
the box says it is a superpad VI, and the loading screen says vimicro. the info I have found on the tablet itself is

it is running market version 2.3.6 and I read somewhere about version 3.4.4 but when I downloaded the new one and tried to install it onto the tablet it just runs through the process of installing then comes up and says app not installed.
the problems started when the tablet just went off, the battery wasn't dead, it just turned itself off, but would not turn back on so I pressed the reset button, it then turned on, but now when I turn it on, the wireless will not connect unless I press the reset button again, sometimes I have to do it a couple of times before it will connect, even then, it doesn't always stay connected for long.
the other problem is, most of the games that she has downloaded and were running fine, now when she tries to open them she gets a message saying an error has occurred and the app needs to close
I really hope someone can help

hi, another problem now, a lot of the apps/games wont install from the market, they show at the top of the page as downloading, then when they are finished, they just disappear and nothing happens.

Hi Everyone,

Will I don't know but I have my tablet works fine, but the sd card won't mount and these are the features.

Then I have one that just stays on the android name same model,
It came in a SUPERPOCKET I7
How can i use the good Tablet to fix the one that wont work is there anyone that can guide me and give good instruction step by step.

New to android system (have ICS 4.0.3) and not sure where this should be posted. I have a new (1 week) chinese U9gt2 tablet that was working fine and I was learning how to use. Then suddenly it no longer completely loads. It does the following:

device shows android ice cream sandwich then goes no further

NOTE: I have done nothing irregular ie as attempt to root, etc.

Think what I'm looking for is something similar to windows reboot in safemode or emergency reboot

you need to download the firmware and do a usb to usb firmware flash using a windows etc computer then it will work correct again

Hello, have similar pad, wireless problems as well. I'm thinking it maybe hardware issue. I've seen these are notorious for poor wifi connection. Also battery life is well below what I expected. Planned to overhaul battery setup and now replace wifi card. Have you had any success getting wifi to work?

Most of these issues sound like possible software issues, and can be resolved by doing a factory format (you will lose everything which is not backed up). I work at an electronics retailer, and every android device I've tried this on so far works:

1. Turn off device fully (hold power and press shut down).
2. Hold power and volume up buttons until something happens.
3. Usually, a screen will appear with options which can be navigated by volume up/volume down, and selecting with power button.
4. Choose "hard reset"/"factory reset" or a similar option.
5. Problem probably gone.

For SD card issues, try a different card, or back up everything from card on computer, and download and run "HP format tool". Format the card and the issue is usually gone. If not, try a factory format too.
