0622 is very impressive, probably the smoothest and quickest rom i've used to date. Thanks for your time and hard work feiyu.

Just a note, while the camera works, apps like 360 camera reported hardware failed to connect. I tested a few others and some reported the same error.

V3 aurora. 622 rom fresh install.

so what is the best way to install 0622?

eg flash 0429 then flash 0622?
flash 0429 flash 0515 then flash 0622 ?
just flash 0622?
flash 0429 flash 0515 then 0618 then 0622?

Just wondering what will get the best results?

Thanks Lifeiyu.
By removing some apk (calendar, contact, phone, maps etc) from /system/app and underclocking to 600Mhz, my Aurora can reach 6 hours for browsing(opera) + reading, or more than +9 hours for reading only. Sweet...!

what are people's experiences with battery life with this rom? Mine loses approx 40% overnight when in standby.

How can I monitor what is eating away at the battery use?

I'm also curious what's causing battery drain when sleeping as well and I'm also looking for a useful app that will monitor or identify the problem.

I use CPU Spy to check Deep Sleep state.
It's good habit to disable wi-fi after using it. Put power Power Control widget on your home screen to make it easier to enable/disable wi-fi connection.

Hi Aishi, How did you remove those apks? thanks.

WARNING !

If anyone trying to simply rename phone.apk in rootexplorer etc, be careful! I did it once, and when I rebooted, the error screen 'unfortunately phone.apk stopped' did not let me unlock or anything else. I had to re-flash through CWM.
In fact, I renamed 3 files, phone.apk, telephony.apk and one more called wappush....apk.

But, if AISHI gave some directions, that may be fine.

Just in case it helps you.

Use any root explorer (eg. Root Explorer, Solid Explorer) to delete apk from /system/apk, don't rename it.
For the first time, Android will give you warning message about missing apps, but everything will be ok after reboot.
If you want to restore it later in case something goes wrong, move it to your sdcard.

This is my current apk in /system/app:
- ApplicationProvider.apk
- BackupRestoreConfirmation.apk
- CertInstaller.apk
- DefaultContainerServer.apk
- DownloadProvider.apk
- DownloadProviderUI.apk
- DrmProvider.apk
- GoogleBackupTransport.apk
- GoogleLoginService.apk (for Google Play Market)
- GooglePartnerSetup.apk
- GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk
- GoogleServicesFramework.apk (for Google Play Market)
- KeyChain.apk
- MarketUpdater.apk (for Google Play Market)
- MediaProvider.apk
- MediaUploader.apk
- Music.apk
- PackageInstaller.apk
- Provision.apk
- Setting.apk (don't try to remove this apk)
- SettingsProvider.apk
- SharedStorageBackup.apk
- SystemUI.apk (don't try to remove this apk)
- Vending.apk (for Google Play Market)

Deleting apk from /system/app is like uninstall.
Check this cyanogen website or this link to find which apk's is safe to remove.
Since Aurora didn't have 3G/phone function, it's safe to remove Contacts.apk, ContactsProvider.apk, Phone.apk and TelephonyProvider.apk

I used 4G patch with 429 livesuit img. but I don't have CWM now and can't install it.

EDIT: 4G patch is broken. repartition properly but no CWM and by no means CWm can be installed (even by terminal, adb or novo tools).

It has been mentioned before that if you make go higher then 3g you don't have cwm, just reinstall 429 with livesuit (and use format) and install 3g patch ^^
