The guide was made for Ainol products, but the process is identical.

Tips:
1. The image you dl must be extracted, I use 7-zip, then rename the file to something easy[my computer doesnt understand chinese, sees it as ?????]
2. You must have Livesuite installed
3. Use pda.net for usb drivers.
4. Flashing is done while machine is off.

It sounds difficult, but in reality is easy and takes like 3 minutes from start to finish. Enjoy.

All G2 roms are pre-rooted. Simply install superuser from market. If you dont believe me, download titanium backup and start it. It tells you on the main screen if you have root or not.[which it does]

Also, root checker will confirm as well.

How about the battery drain with this rom?? Is it better, equal or worst compared with the stock rom 1223??
