Is the Aurora the same size as the galaxy tab 7in ?
I'm hoping a gel case for the galaxy tab will fit the aurora....anyone know ?

I would personally advise AGAINST a gel case because a gel case usually conforms to a device that it was made specifically for (the EXACT dimensions). You're better off with a folio or a pouch type case. That's just my opinion. By the way the kindle fire's dimensions are a tad bit closer to the aurora (depthwise). An even closer match would be the Huawei Mediapad. Let us know what you get in the end. If you want to check out cases that might possibly (haven't tested) fit check this thread.

I tend to agree with you, but i have found that the tablets get marked when you are using them, when they are out of the normal cases, so I would prefer a gel case that it can stay in all the time.
Anyway, I have gone and ordered a gel case for a galaxy tab 7 and will try it. It only cost £4.50, so nothing to loose really. I suspect I will have to make some cutouts for the buttons (doubt they will be in the right places). See how it goes.....
I will update the thread when it comes.
