Overall it is a decent 2MP camera... don't expect to take family photos or anything, but it gets the job done that it is suppose to.
It does a good job with focus as well.
Those pictures also look better when viewed at normal size.
SlateDroid blows them up to 100% size, but under normal viewing you would look at them around 50% size.

In the stock camera app I did not see those options... so I am not sure...
Is there a specific/special app I should test?

It's sole purpose is to make Panoramic Photos.
Overall it is a simple to use interface.. the tricky part is lining up the shadow edge image to make the Pano "seamless"
Here are a couple attempts using the software.
I would probably suggest saving/downloading the file rather than viewing them in the SlateDroid pop up.
PANO_20120208_134504.jpg (458.16K)
Number of downloads: 106
- spare room - no lights on - overcast day
PANO_20120208_134043.jpg (727.89K)
Number of downloads: 101
- cut the top of my head out of the pictures
- overcast with droplets of rain
From a user/attempt stand point... it is a fairly tricky/difficult process having only a front facing camera.
I found the best approach was holding the tablet to my side rather than above my head.

Does the screen protector go over the camera lens?
it could be causing darker photos, but I have noticed that the Aurora does best if there is a light source on the object being "filmed"

Can anybody tell me that Aurora supports the SIM voice calling ? Can we make GSM phone calls from the table?
Thank you all in advance for your answer

Hi Tasselhof.
I'm a new Aurora owner (had it less than a week) and am generally very happy with the tablet.
Although I played with the camera a few days ago, I have only noticed today that photos are transposed on my Aurora, e.g. mirrored image - so that any text/wording is back to front.
Obviously I can 'flip' the photos using the standard photo editor to correct the issue, but was wondering if you had noticed and/or had this problem when any Auroras you have used?
Does anyone else have this issue?
Does anyone know of a fix?
I'm assuming it could be corrected by a simple config file edit somewhere??
Regards
MattyD

I ran ivanz's script for Marketplace compatibility. Is it possible I have mucked something up?
Whats the best form of root for 4.0.3 so I can remove Apex Launcher. Having it on the system partition is causing update problems.
