Hi all,

I'm really hoping you can help.

I have a Witsteck A81G Capacitive which has been working beautifully up until now. Today I was using it, everything fine, and closed it down. Now tonight when I booted it up, once I unlock the screen to begin, it tells me: "Sorry, the application ColorNote(blah blah) has stopped unexpectedly.".

This is not just an issue with ColorNote (which I'm not even sure Ive ever used).

After I hit force stop, I find that all of my Android desktops which I had customised, have now reverted to the default desktops. The initial Android help droid was there, the second desktop had the default music controls and the Android Market launcher etc.

I find when I go into my apps, any apps I had installed on the SDcard are not listed, but any apps I had installed on the system memory are present. I think also that if I open any app that was installed on the tab by default, works normally. But any additional app that I have previously downloaded and had installed in system memory (rather than SDcard), does not work, and produces the same error as above (I think, I haven't thoroughly tested).

The tablet can see the SDcard, and I've accessed the SDcard ok on my PC.

I tried re-installing a PDF reading app I had previously installed onto a new SDcard. It installs ok, opens ok, but as soon as I try to access a PDF, it gets the same error as noted above (but specifically for that reader app).

My tablet is pretty much rendered useless at the moment, as I can't do anything useful with the default desktops, and reinstalling apps doesn't seem to help at all.

I've tried swapping out the battery, rebooting etc etc. No change.

Has this happened to anyone else? Am I up for a hard reset and re-install?

Any help would be great!
