the camera on my aurora is really dark even with the brightness level at max.
is the screen protector really to blame here?

Hey brotherlouie, I bought my aurora with a screen protector installed and I found it very dark as well.
A guy here on this forum said that this tablet's camera performs pretty badly in low light perfomance, and he doesn't even have a screen protector installed! He said he can only use it in bright rooms..... Kinda sucks, because all the rooms in my apartment are pretty dark.

got a new screen protector for my aurora....the matte kind. feels better and alot more responsive. less fingerprint and that oily feeling too. the lady who installed my new screen protector says that the camera should never be covered. so she punched a hole for the camera. photos come out really brighter now. still not so good on low light surroundings, but its hella better than before

Hi, first post here, but have been over on the other forums till now. Are you sure this was a screen protector and not the original factory fitted screen protector. I took mine straight off, its more for travel protection than anything else.
I received one in the box with my Aurora from Spemall.com. Wasn't sure if this was normal but i guess it was a "freebee"

Sorry, replied to the wrong person.. i think you get what I mean though....

Id suggest getting a better protector and handle the device a bit more carefully then
My phone has had a protector for almost a year now, theres not a single scratch on it. And my Basic still has the factory protection on with nothing but fingerprints on it

Can you post a pic if possible ? That way, I can also go & buy screen protector then.
Because the one I got from Pandawill is actually bigger than Aurora display itself. lol. And I can't mess with cutting it out to fit etc. as it will get dirty with dust etc. in the process, thus becoming unsuable. It's already useless.
And I don't want to keep using the device without screen protector as it doesn't look like it's a scratch-proof screen. We can't expect such thing in such price afterall. Plus screen protector will protect it from any dust too hopefully.

Hey, do you have any kind of problem like : Split bright, dead pixel, dust under screen, gap between back cover, loose fit button etc? I have heard from slatedroid(dot)com , that many people facing those problems. I have already ordered one pc for me! Now I am in big tension!!
