I will look into it, but probably not because, we are trying to keep the rom as slim as possible. However in the future I may release a separate installer with useful apps.

It's not the blinkie bug because the display stays dark. I've also tried turning off wi-fi but before sleeping but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
Is the battery drain normal?

I am finding that I am losing sound very often. Sound works fine after a reboot, then the Gtabs speakers mysteriously go dead within a few minutes. I am not using any headphones or such.
Any help appreciated.

Make sure your Bluetooth is turned off and/or try toggling it on/off. I believe that was found to cause a sound problem.

Is your GPS service on? One of your apps may be trying to use it, which I've heard it can cause sound issues. (weather widget, maps, etc..) Try toggling it off and reboot. See this post. Link

That is it! My GPS was on. Whenever I open Facebook, it is trying to get GPS and turns the sound off. I have to reboot the Gtab to get the sound back.
Thanks for the help!

I can get 4 or more days during sleep. I've had it unplugged for about 3 1/2 days now and it's at 32%. This is real light use.
If my quick math is correct, that makes it ~1% an hour.
Now this is on 1.1, so feel free to completely ignore my post. I went on vacation shortly after 1.2 came out (the next day), so I didn't want to risk breaking my tablet as I left for my trip, since I needed it. That plus the blinkie issue I was afraid would cause me grief. Since I got back, I just haven't gotten around to 1.2. I guess I'm simply waiting for 1.3 now.

I'm on 1.2. It's possible I'm doing something wrong. I've just been hitting the power button. When I long press the power button I don't get a sleep option.

You aren't doing anything wrong. There is no sleep option that I've ever seen in the power menu. To sleep, just tap the power button once.
Your battery drain sounds about right. I think (could be wrong) 1.1 had better battery life and fewer blinkies, but more sods. Maybe due to the schedulers and other stuff they left out of the kernel. That's a total guess.

I have the same issue. Have had it on all the ICS rooms. I just deal with it. Not a big problem.
All in all its a great piece of work. Thanks Team DRH.

I would have thought once you put it to sleep battery drain would be nonexistent. The way I understood it with the previous roms was they drained battery while sleeping because those roms were designed for phones whereas this one was for a tablet. So a deep sleep, similar to a PC hibernate should have little to no battery drain.

Just curious to see if anything has changed regarding Onskreen's Cornerstone. It's something I'm very interested in since being able to run the mobile mouse and XBMC remote apps side by side would make my HTPC setup so much easier

Mine is the same. I believe it is a battery issue. I swapped the battery to a second gtablet and it follows the battery. I believe that short of replacing the battery there is nothing that can be done.

As stated there are just problems with battery stats and the Gtablet. I've seen many owners say that they are stuck at 100%. I personally see accurate battery drain, but when fully charged it displays 96-97% ( and keeps trying to charge). I've tried many ROMs before ICS and always the same result, so I assume it is hardware. My situation doesnt warrant replacing the battery, but that might be your only recourse if you want to see battery stats

I am working on a way of getting options in ROM control to manually change the "theoretical" maximum and minimum voltage levels so that if you are one with "bad battery stats" you may be able to fix it. Hopefully in 1.3

Currently we only have access to whats known as LP1 (Low Power mode 1) sleep. Malata never got LP0 working which would effectively allow your tablet to sleep for a week if not more. Newer Tegra2 tablets (Like the Acer ones) have this working and sleep for quite some time... which my room mate rubs in my face sometimes. I get about 2 days in sleep with wifi running (even though it can't stay connected) so if I know I am not going to be using it for a while I just turn of wifi and it increases my sleep time up to about 3 days with light use. My battery has certainly taken a beating over first got it over a year ago so YMMV however 2-3 days seems about average.

This... I forget about this. I will put this on my to-do list.
Additionally I am working on trying to get some of the more battery efficient CPU governors to work. Seecifically I want to get InteractiveX working. InteractiveX sets a lower min/max value for when the device goes to sleep saving more juice and also has the ability to dynamically enable and disable the second CPU core when it is not needed just like the Tegra3 chip functions by default. Once I get that working it should improve battery life.
Fosser2 and the gang have been working on improving a lot of the kernel which includes fixing a lot of things that were broken and or completely wrong for our device. This cleanup will hopefully fix a lot of things and improve upon performance. I am not sure what the thinking is at the moment (been out of the loop) but once that is complete milestone 1.3 should be out so hold tight. Our releases are getting farther apart because its taking longer now to get rid of the smaller pesky and harder to deal with problems. However don't fret as we are still on the case.
Cheers
