I asked my wife to get me a Pandigital Novel for Christmas. She was kind enough to oblige. Although lately she has been complaining that I don't use it enough. I was hoping to use it for Netflix, as a remote control, etc. However, after rooting it it just has Android 2.1, which is a little bit limiting.
So in the interest of me using it more, what does everyone use their tablet for? What are fun things to do with it?

The PDN was initially sold as e-readers only with some internet functions. Modders hacked it to be a basic Android tablet and PDN stole the idea and now sells the PDN as Android table, but as as you've discovered, there is quite a bit of limitations to it because of OS version and limited hardware features. But I still find mine useful and use it quite a bit.
The main things I use it for:
Pandora client to my stereo
XBMC remote control (remote controls my home theater PC)
email
web browsing
Amazon Kindle ebooks
RSS Reader
Movies

I'm also running 2.1
When I 1st got the tablet I was using it alot. Since then I slowed down considerably.
However its a great portable device.
Top 5 uses
1. Internet/Web Browser - Need quick info or check out websites very useful
2. Movies/Music - No Internet needed, just an SD Card full of media.
3. Games - I downloaded emulators of NES, SNES, GBA, Sega, & Atari(Mario, Sonic, Donkey Kong etc)
4. Basic Apps - Downloaded some real useful apps (Calculators, Notepads, Weather)
5. Books - Not a huge reader but I have a few books I check out when I have some free time.
Great tablet to have if your on the go or waiting in for extended periods.
