Fun_
You asked for a description of what is happening on the T103 after installing clockworkmod according to your instructions.
*when I try to open Clockworkmod recovery
-power button + vol. up = flashing lines of different colors
-reset button + vol. up = screen full of different colored pixels (1,000s of sparkling pixels, kinda pretty)
*when I try to reinstall original 2.2 recovery, it doesn't.

My T103 seems to be running OK and I can install new apps and delete apps. Titanium backup installed, but I get the following message:

Whoami: unknown uid 10075" instead of root/uid 0. I think your "Superuser whitelist" system app does not work. Please
check with your ROM provider.

The following are the apps that I am running on my T103:Safe Notes, Root Explorer 2.17.2, YouTube-low, Gmail, Act 1 Video v3.12.1, MySword (complete), PocketBible, Documents to Go (unlocked version 3.004n), Amazon Kindle, Market 3.4.4, Google Calendar, Calculator, TheFreeDictionary, Comic Reader, GoWeather v1.9.13, Titanium Backup 3.03 (partly working), various games.

I rooted the T103 right after purchasing it. I removed all the bloat and original software. Installed basic google setup. It was running fine with all the above listed apps. I read that Dalvik Turbo would run OK on the T103 and installed it after the clockworkmod install, (Dalvik seems to work). I wanted a good method for backing the T103 up and read about clockworkmod and installed it only to find I can't backup much of anything and no longer have access to recovery of any sort.

Thank you Fun_ for all your hard work! It is appreciated I look forwarded to what an intellect such as yours will create.
Hope this helps :D

OK so Clockwork Fried your recovery partition, Well so did I and here is how I fixed it.
First Download recoveryflash.zip From http://androidforums...ery-thread.html
Ignore everything else on the website. Using your computer via card slot extract the file to your sd card, reinsert the SD card, then using root manager open the file, copy the recoveryflash.sh file to data/local (note: not the data on the sd card)
Start your adb server
after you verify your device is connected (ADB DEVICES) mount the drive as rw and then add the following commands in shell.

cat /sdcard/recoveryflash/recoveryflash.sh > /data/local/recoveryflash.sh

chmod 0755 /data/local/recoveryflash.sh

/data/local/recoveryflash.sh

It will then do a bunch of calculating then finally it fail to reboot.
close ADB
open a new ADB server
then re-verify your device is connected.
then add this last command

ADB REBOOT RECOVERY

and boom by chance (after failing to install your stock recovery gets reflashed) your stock recovery is back. YAY!!!

Oh yeah don't forget to erase the cwm update.zip or for that matter any update.zip unless you want to reinstall your os. Remember your stock recovery auto matically looks for a update.zip to install.

For some reason this fix is unstable so take that opportunity to reflash your stock ROM, that should restore a more stable original recovery.

It's not unstable but requires ADB REBOOT RECOVERY command the two button combo doesn't work for some reason.

Thank you bot42u for posting this!
I thoroughly screwed up when I first installed CWM on T10x. I didn't backup my original recovery file. I'm a noob of sorts. I'm 68 years old and been goofing up computers for over 30-years. I assembled my first hardrive from odds and ends. It was bigger than the computer and had a whopping 6mb. I have rooted a palm pre, two epic 4g and my cruz T10x. I was ill and shouldn't have even been doing anything with a computer when GJSmith3rd tried to help me. I did a brain fart and said 'what is a terminal'. LOL Thanks GJSmith3rd for trying to help a 'old' noob.

The reason for this post is that I have tried everything posted that I could find and nothing would work to get recovery (stock or otherwise). Not even bot42u's post. My T103 was working, I could install and remove apps and I could even explore with root explorer. I could not get recovery. In my search for a fix for recovery I tried the velocity suggestions.

Here is how I got it to work:
1. download fun_'s new update for CWM for T10x
2. download vm_cruz_T10X-FUU_v1.3.exe
(found at this url: http://cruzsupport.v...let-T100-Series) it is located at the very bottom of the page
3. you need SDK with platform-tools installed on your computer
4. place vm_cruz_T10X_FUU_v1.3.exe in the platform-tools folder
5. place the new CWM on the sdcard (new CWM needs to be renamed update.zip - do not unzip it)
6. the platform-tools folder needs to have ADB in it
7. double click the vm_cruz_T10X-FUU_v1.3.exe that is in your platform-tools folder (then follow the instructions)

This worked well for me and it is great to have CWM installed and able to backup the contents of my tablet.

Awesome! Sorry that didn't work for you that's what fixed mine good enough to do a reflash.
