ok, so i got youtube to work in mobile mode, kinda a bummer, as it makes it a bit harder touse. i have a Droidx, with android 2.3 on it, dolphin browser, and flash, and it works fine in desktop mode for the websites. is this an ice cream sammich thing, or a tablet thing?

Hello,
1.Firstly the tablet shows screen rez 1024x552. Why? OS bug or what.Is there a problem for programs compability?
2.Titanium backup shows it has a root but can't restore external apps(just internal i tried after 2 hard reset and Titanium restore programs like angry birds with data),I succesfully deleted some apps in /system/app with Root Explorer. I used Root Check Basic, result:This device has root access! So do we have root? Why need aditional soft for market and flash?
3.Can we have live wallpapers?
4.For now Quickoffice,Skyfire,Soul Movie installs but won't work. I have force close often with other programs like Mobo Video Player. Can't make skype video call.
5.I tried MX Video Player mVideoPlayer plays video with sub but also with chinese subs so it's unreadable. If i stop subs, only shows the chinese.
Can I have some answers and suggestions for the problems.Thanks.

Most likely that is because of the ICS bar at the bottom... it generally tries to stay on top/visible so it will sometimes slightly shrink an app display.
Did you install BusyBox? Titanium backup requires it... but I think there have been others that said it might not work yet on this device.
Yes you can set Live Wallpapers.
I used MoboPlayer in my review video without issue.
I used Dolphin Browser HD primarily for my web browser.
I haven't tried quick office.

So far I haven't run in to any issues of apps not running or closing out... not sure why you are.
You haven't overclocked the device or anything right?

Do you see in your settings that screen is 1024x552?
I never had BusyBox on my phone but used Titanium.
How can I use LiveWallpaper when I install it- no menu for setting it? I install LiveWallpaper Picker but it crash when set the wallpaper.
What version of MoboPlayer you use. When I try to open a directory:"Player Pro has crashed."
I didn't overclock or enithing else.
Is it normal to have root like my Aurora with no script installed?

The WiFi is actually really strong for this device in my opinion.
No concerns on my end on WiFi.

I know that you said that WiFi on this device is strong. However, could u please do a review of WiFi performance compared to other popular tablet or phone?
I'm rather concerned over WiFi on chinese tablet.

Maybe, do something like this: http://m.androidcent...test-how-bad-it

Thanks & Cheers,

Jhon

I see that you can order the Aurora with 8GB or 16GB (most sites seem to just have the 8GB). Does the 16GB have 16 built in or is it just the 8GB model with an 8GB card added? Also, I am confused about the colours - are they all black or do they have white backs on them. I would like a 16GB in all black but some of the pictures seem to show a white back?
