After 6 months of flashing & tinkering, I needed a way to get back to a 'stable' baseline. So, here it is.

This is the Velocity Micro R100 series ROM released 10/12/2010 that was on both my R101 & R102 when they came out of the box.

The updater-script in this package:
1. Reformats all internal NAND storage except for the "id" partition (which stores the unique serial #).
2. Corrects file ownership & permissions for Windows <-> Linux zip conversion.

The only 2 files that I changed from the VM original are the "script readme" & "updater-script" in \META-INF\com\google\android\ which, of course, are not copied to NAND. The package has also been signed. A screenshot is attached, but completely unremarkable.

For convenience & transparency, here's the "script readme" & "updater-script" alone. You should be able to replace these 2 files in any VM firmware update and get a clean install. Tested with releases from 10/12/2010 (obviously) and 11/16/2011 (latest). The script was derived mostly from JGM's ROM v3.1, so kudos to him.

Thanks so much for this! Sorely needed for the Cruz since so much cruft is left between regular flashes. I've been toying around with doing something similar by hand but it's nice to get a tool from someone who knows what their doing. I don't know much about android but am a long time linux user. That means I know enough to get myself into some real trouble!

This should be a sticky. It should be a step in all flashing.

While I really appreciate the strokes my friend, this was a fairly simple task once I determined that the filesystem was, in fact, complete. Frankly, I'm baffled why someone hadn't already done it.
