I have the WPDN,Reverted back to s10 firmware from SH20 series,I really like rampv's cm6 rom,want to keep it for a while,just trying to find gapps for that rom,and few more questions...Do I delete said rom files on ex sd card,put GAPPS file on it and flash like a firmware install or just copy to the ex sd card and turn the wpdn on? Thanks

yes. get the gapps from here and get the one HDPI version for CM6. I'm having trouble updating the market though, and many apps are missing, but this will put you one step closer, just as it did me. I've been looking all over the place trying to find a market fix with no luck though. Good luck and please do share if you find the fix

Probably need to change the fingerprint in your build prop to something that is a valid android 2.2 device, at least I think CM6 would be android 2.2? See the market fix we did for 2.1 on here and maybe it will point you in the right direction for making a fix for CM6.

I've tried changing the build.prop file, tried the manageapps/market clear cache forcestop etc and neither has worked. ended up just using slideme app market and sideloading the other .apks that I couldn't find there. This is just going to have to work because I'm sick of working on it. After all beggars can't be choosers right? lol

What did you use as the ro.fingerprint in the build prop? What happened when you flashed the new build prop in and opened market?

There is also a trick about uninstalling one of the google communication apps and then leave it alone while connected to the internet for a bit and it forces a market update. Sorry, I don't remember the specifics, maybe a search of some of the threads on market problems would provide more detail on that trick.

Full play store works in cm7.2 trouble is sleep of death and audio. Play store works without changing build I'd or fingerprint.

OK, I have *most* apps in Market... many more than without the fingerprint fix.
Flashed CM6
used Root Explorer to edit /system/build.prop
ro.build.fingerprint=google/passion/passion/mahimahi:2.1-update1/ERE27/24178:user/release-keys

Flashed blazingwolfs market file.

Still doesn't have youtube or Dolphin in Market... so if anyone has a better suggestion for the fingerprint....
Also, not sure if you have to modify build.prop BEFORE installing market- seems I was having problems until I flashed a FRESH SYSTEM.

That is just an eclair fingerprint, so you might want to find one for something running CM6 to get all the apps on that version of android.
