I got the Link2SD app with the intent to move some apps to the 4GB SD Card. In order to do this I needed to create two partitions on the SD card, which I did using the MicroTool app. I made one partition FAT32 and the other EXT2. However when I attempt to use Link2SD I get the error message "Mount Script cannot be created" (see attached).
I did some research and found the following...
"You should have two partitions on SD card and both should be primary. The first FAT partition is your standard SD card storage. The second partition is used for application files and can be ext2, ext3, ext4 or FAT32. Some phones lack the ext2, ext3 or ext4 file system support and you may get mount errors like "no such device", "invalid argument". These phones need ext2.ko or ext3.ko modules and even some additional modules to be able to mount. Using FAT32 on the second partition will eleminate such problems, because FAT32 is supported on all phones."
I went back to MicroTool and modified the second partition to also be FAT32 (see attached) but this did not solve the problem; I still get the error message.
I have dome some additional research that implies I need to have "S-OFF", but I can't figure out how to do this on the Novel. So at this point I'm stumped.
Anybody have any suggestions on how rig the Novel to be able to shift some apps to the SD card?
