One small thing that I've noticed so far is that it doesn't seem to recognize the /mnt/emmc/ folder as storage or scan for media. It's not a big deal because I can just migrate all of my files to my external sdcard. Thank you so much, it is running very smoothly, I've never seen my gTablet this snappy :)

If you have any knowledge its probably a vold.fstab issue. Fix that and you should be set.
I'll post the one that I'm using later on. Like tomm or something.

You are right, it is an vold.fstab issue. I was able to get my internal storage to mount, but now I lost my microsd  I think I'll just wait for you to post it for us

Ran very smooth, the browser seems a bit...a slight glitchy but is not a concern, interface and everything else was fluid. The ROM does need a few more updating and tweeking, overall a great freaking job FOSSER! I look forward to the real BETA update! Thank you boss for sharing such a wealth to us, your public!

Initial feedback:
Installed GApps as directed.

1. Unable to gain root access. Superuser is installed, but cannot update. I tried running Fix permissions from recovery but that had no effect.
2. Busybox was not installed. Failed to install due to #1 (needs root)
Prevents Titainium backup (needs root) so I'm loading all my apps one by one.

Working:
Market working.
Gmail (2 Google apps accounts with push)
Exchange EMail (corporate Exchange 2010)
Calendar syncs with Google apps calendar and Exchange.

Hey guys.

Ok, so I've been away from this particular forum for a while, but I've been in the IRC rooms working with Team DRH testing the roms the whole while. Since fosser has decided to let more people at the rom, I'll try to hang around here more and help you guys out with problems. The primary devs of any rom really start to get frustrated when they generate a release because they end up answering a lot of repeat and often stupid questions and bug reports. I'm going to ask the others guys who do more testing than dev to do the same.

I will tell you that mayday_jay gave us a ROM last night with fosser's kernel, combined with the3dman's gapps package, that is leaps ahead of what we had even yesterday morning. I'm only just now playing with it, but wow...

MC

Is anyone else's battery percentages waaaaayyy off, or did I just get a bad flash. Mine dies at around 72% and says 100% long before it lights up green. Not a big issue, just wondering.

Quick question since you guys are running it, is it a simple download the rom and flash with CWM? I heard a few users talking about NVFlashing it so I am curious. I plan on test driving it later tonight so want to get setup. Also is CWM 5.5.0.2 included with the rom, or is it required ahead of time? Thanks

Thank you for the info!
I am already using Firefox with a Vegan Tab 7 rom and I love it, so I will give this one a try!

Ran it for a few hours and it was very smooth. No new bugs noticed aside from the aforementioned ones Fosser had indicated the ROM has. Great job Team DRH.

For me it was a simple download into the internal storage and install via CWM as an update after the standard cleanings (Data, cache & Dalvick)

The thing to do, if you haven't already, is to NVFlash to bootloader 1.2, you have to be on that. You also should really use CWM 5.5.0.2, quite possibly have to. This team has created a simple download that will NVFlash just that (partition 9) if you're already on BL 1.2.

Once you've got your GTab with bootloader 1.2, and CWM 5.5.0.2, you will flash this ROM and GAPPS just like any other ROM. And don't forget it's wise to Wipe all, wipe cache, and wipe dalvik before flashing.

MC

Oh yeah one more thing, there is a CWM 5.5.0.4 floating around, but you should avoid it. It doesn't mount things correctly. 5.5.0.2 is the most stable.
