It should be noted that there are only 16gb Aurora's in stock. I got an email from them today asking me to upgrade the 8gb Aurora i ordered to 16gb as there will be no more 8gb's until after the Chinese New Year. I upgraded, we'll see how this goes!

I received my tracking number for the black version of the Aurora at Pandawill.

I originally ordered white, but they ran out of stock and emailed me to change to the black version. So I did and they shipped it out.


Edit: I ordered on the 14th. I was informed that if I wanted to buy another one, then I'd have to wait until after jan. 30th. Pandawill ran out of stock on both the white and black model.

I just ordered last night (1/17) and got the black aurora. I was surprised that I received my shipping tracking number today! I used airmail, so 2-4 week shipping. We'll see how it goes.

I did not receive an email tracking number. Yes, the shipping and tracking information was on their website. For me, I got the information outside of the website because the night before I noticed that in the order information on pandawill's website, there was an RSS 'subscribe to order status' link. I added that to my RSS reader (google reader) and saw the updated shipping information that way.

I just ordered one last night (11PM) from china grabber and got an email from them overnight that said I needed to upgrade to the 16GB version... Even though I already bought the 16GB version. They are both listed under one item that says in the description that it is 8GB, but when you go to buy it, it has a drop down to choose the capacity. So I emailed them back with a screenshot showing my invoice with the 16GB price and selection shown.. Hopefully they get it out before the new year! I don't want to wait that long!

good luck and hopefully it does ship before cny. really weird that ainol would come out with these new tablets right at the cusp of CNY

fyi, i ordered mine from pandawill and like i said earlier was surprised that they shipped it out the next day. the only thing i can think of is that i ordered the black version of the aurora which was brand new and they had more new stock. the white aurora had been on pandawill for several days past.

Yeah, they told me that the white model had sold out. I ordered on the 14th and the Aurora was released on the 14th. So that means it literally sold out within a couple hours.

I switched my aurora order from white to black last night and it shipped today. (pandawill)

Yeah, hopefully ChinaGrabber is up to PandaWill's speed. I ordered from them because they have the 16GB version.. Figured it was a good idea to spend the extra $15 (~$183) to get double the storage space as well as their free shipping service being faster I believe. Hopefully they ship it out tomorrow! I'd be okay with either the black or white.. Couldn't decide which one to get anyways!
