I purchased The suposedly newer "A Grade" unit shipped after march 18th from chinagrabber, yet it has the worst case I have seen of dead pixels and green lines on the sides and top, and of cource I contact chinagrabber with 12 hours on owning it with pictures of the tablet , and get no replies for the past 3 days, in this forum they state that any defect in hardware is replaced withit 15 days of delivery but I think they just don't reply within the 15 days to be able to say that you are out of the warrenty dates. just a heads up on the ainol novo 7 aurora still having lcd issues and some problems you might come accross with sellers.

Hope everyone has a better time then I did.

Unfortunately it looks like Chinagrabber have caught quite a few people with this promise of shipping 'A GRADE' units, you will be lucky if you hear anything at all from them now, once they have your money you can forget about customer service or anything that was stated on their website (like quality control or customer service!!).

Well, i finally got my unit. Box was sent in a padded envelope, a little beat up. The unit i received was 16 gb black, instead of white like i ordered. Outside the box was a power wall charger.

Unit looks pretty nice, the screen is awesome. Android market was already loaded, and it has the setting set to english. Android version 4.0.3

Since i got my Galaxy already mines headed to ###########, but at least you guys know if you ordered around 2/15 you should see it soon.

This is simply not true, at least in my case. The unit I ordered on 18th February, was shipped on 20th March, almost exactly when they promised on CG portal and it really is as "A GRADE" as one would expect it to be... without any defects (dead pixels, misplaced screen, misplaced connectors...) Other re sellers had similar delay, so I found explanation on CG site acceptable... There was obviously some factory problem with this model.
I was a bit worried about touch screen issue, but it seems to be on software side, and was easily fixed with flashing to new firmware.
They didn't deliver HDMI cable to me (not that I desperately need it), but after I complained about this, they responded that Ainol removed cables from package. I emailed them again, and mentioned that HDMI cable was included in product description when I placed the order. Next day they responded that cable is shipped... it should arrive in a week or so. They responded to each of my emails in one or two days, so no problem with communication either.
Maybe it's just my luck, but I am actually happy with Chinagrabber's customer service, and it's very unfortunate that they decided to remove Paypal from payment options. If they haven't made that mistake, I would easily recommend them.

UPDATE: 5 days after opening a case with paypal they emailed me back with there return policy copied directly from there site.
Refunds


All sales are Final and there are no refunds or exchanges.

Warranty

All items come with a manufacturer’s 1 year warranty.

Accessories such as chargers, batteries, cables, etc. come with a 3 month warranty.

If you receive a defective unit, we may replace it after all possible troubleshooting steps have been taken.

We may ask you to send pictures to verify an issues or confirm what you received.

A replacement must be approved by a China Grabber supervisor.


Shipping Defective Items
Customer is responsible for shipping cost when returning any product to China Grabber.


China Grabber will be responsible for shipping charges for replacements or repairs sent back to customers.


Warranty Does Not Cover


Physical abuse or normal wear and tear will not be covered by the warranty.

Modifying the product or flashing unapproved software voids warranty. You can view our full warranty policy here

China Grabber reserves the right to deny the return or refund of any product by any customer for any reason.


Return Policy




(1) Merchandise may be returned within 30 days of delivery with an original packing invoice.

So, I'm eating the loss as if you look nice and close to the wording of "China Grabber reserves the right to deny the return or refund of any product by any customer for any reason."

and the fact that paypal has stopped allowing chinagrabber, not the other way around. I'm not going to trust them with anything, right now I might be able to sell the tablet for someone who dosn't care about the pixel problems and other problems and get some of my money out of it,, and if I send it back I pay shipping and may never see any conclusion and be out all money + shipping.

I'm just not a betting man and if I do I'll still with the lower odds

I asked Spemall on their FB page, when they can ship the Aurora, if I will cancel my order from PW, and order it from them.

I don't think THEY decided to remove Paypal, most likely the other way around!!! It may just be that you were lucky, but just hope you stay lucky and that you don't need to return the item to Chinagrabber or your luck may run out, see the post after yours to see what happens when you want to return something to them. When I asked about returning a faulty tablet that I bought off them, they just stopped responding to my emails, and when I posted on their (sham) forum apad.tv they banned me! (no reason given and no date the ban will be lifted). This is how they operate, they take your money but if you have a problem with what you bought they don't want to know. Best of luck with yours and hopefully you will not need to return it to them.

I got it in 10 days, which is quite fast.

I also ordered from Spemall. After two days I've place my order was already shiped out and in 11 days has arrived (Romania). It's my second tablet ordered from Spemall and the same happy experience.
