Ainol Novo 7 Aurora is now shipping! Really limited supply until after the Chinese New Year. It is exactly the same as the Novo 7 Elf: 150 degree IPS Capacitive Screen (Same type the iPad 2 has).

CPU is only 1.2GHz Allwinner Many CORE. HDMI out, bluetooth, Web cam. There is NO android market on the unit.

If it has blue-tooth isn't that an upgrade over the elf as well? or does the elf have blutooth? The N7A does not have blutooth built-in.

Thanks for the info. Also, I would wager that the chipset is only 1.0 Ghz in all these A10 tablets.

Kind regards,

Roman

All of the A10 next generation started shipping last Thurs that is Wed here. As far as I can tell only the Aurora has IPS screen. The Elf has X600 resolution and is in a few members hands already. The N7AII still has the 480res screen with a boost to 1GB of RAM as do all of the new allwinner tabs.

I have yet to see any of the ainol/ainovo tablets with any built in 3G or bluetooth.

I am quite happy with the new releases as there is almost everything original N7A owners wished they had in the original. I have an Elf coming soon and am really looking forward to taking it for a test run.

I won't be happy if ICS is not quite ready for primetime, there probably isn't a working ROM of 2.3 for the new tabs. Downgrade may not be possible.

I'm sure we will ge a market fix in a few days. The modders here and at XDA love nothing more than a challenge.

If you are choosing based on price alone, then you will be buying from a China supplier.

If you are looking for N. American supply and support then you reaaly should consider topnotchtablets.com

I am not affiliated with them and have not personally purchased from them, but I know from others that they truly are Top Notch.....:)

I have used Merimobiles a few times without problems. Do some research and I'm sure you can narrow your choices down to 2-3 quality Chinese suppliers.

Never heard of the site that u mentioned, though read that merimobiles is good, don't know if its true or not. they are a bit expensive compared to pandawill but if they give good service, i guess it would be worth it. funny thing is that i live next door to china in Pakistan and finding a reliable online store is like a uphill task :p :(

According to Merimobiles (where I pre-ordered) the Elf does not have Bluetooth. This was not in the description but in the comments. Someone posted a question and the supplier responded that there was no Bluetooth radio on the tablet. But honestly, I don't believe anything from a foreign retail website. I'd wait until you see an actual product. Oh, also, the images of the Elf's packaging mention nothing about Bluetooth on them, which would be a major selling point.

Elf has "bluetooth Share" http://chinagrabber....-novo7-elf.aspx

"Elf has a Bluetooth Share app, but we have not confirmed it has bluetooth."

I just asked ChinaGrabber.com and they have confirmed Aurora has an app called Bluetooth Share.

I jumped the gun on purchasing the Ainol Novo 7 Aurora from Pandawill.com. Using the coupon code "pw1234", I was able to get it at a grand total of $154.55 + Free Shipping.. I shall update on my experience with Pandawill :drinks:

Don't expect any after-sale service from them. My experience was not present at all. I have problem with my Novo7A, emailed them and left voice messages with their tech support. No response whatsoever. I'll never buy from them again.
