Here are the firmware update instructions from their website:

Firmware Upgrade Considerations: - Please look for the user to upgrade the firmware again. Brush the wrong firmware will cause product damage, leading to problems only by the user.
- Be sure to upgrade the machine back up important data, the upgrade process is likely to be formatted removable disk, the upgrade is complete the original data will be lost, can not be recovered.

Upgrade method: (Please strictly follow the steps below to complete order)

Yes certainly. I watched your review, it really helps people to see and decide before buying. Can you make benchmark tests as antutu, quadrant ? Gpu, cpu, memory points will help people too.

I didn't realise that the new firmware was so important....

And the result.... was that suddenly my tablet crash will it was in stand by mode...

I downloaded the new firmaware, I tried to install it but.... the tables doesn't react- work at all!!!!

Is there any solution or do I have to send back my tablet ...

I am downloading firmwares ICS-sundream ...20120115.zip and ....20120112.7z.
Which one should I install to get Android market to work?.

Secondly, I tried to use the Tasseloff rooting software...
But, the software install script says "rooting" but nothing happens !

The W6HD is connected via USB cable and USB debugging is enabled.

I must be doing something wrong but can't figure this out.
Help needed, please.

It may be a driver issue... make sure the device is recognized by your computer.
Right click on My Computer and go to Manage.
Go to Device Manager and make sure there aren't any yellow exclamation marks.

I have 20111228 firmware..... and my Ramos refuses to start !!!!! It was in stand by mode.... it suddenly turned off...... and now is dead .....
I pressed reset, power up many times but.... there isn't any response !!!!!!!!!!

What can I do????

Try removing the mSD card, then hold the reset button for 10~15 seconds. It worked on mine.

Hmm. Some people reported that some games don't work on it properly.
But that's not the reason its not listed.

The 4.03 ROMs were made by sundream a chinese hacker, thus they are unsupported by Ramos.

same here, upgraded to 12-28-2011 from the official ramos website, worked like a charm for a day, now it went in stand-by and didn't turn on anymore.
I had to press the reset button for 10 second like Les said and now it is turning on

EDIT: I just upgraded to this firmware version and this is what i found so far:
- No root.
- No android market.
- Feels a lot snappier! the ui now is really fast
EDIT2: I'm unable to make the market work this time. with the previous firmware I was able to make it work using the method suggested by MrTasselhof,
it seems however that this time it doesn't work (at least for me). if you upgrade to this firmware and succeed in making the market work, please let me know
EDIT3: ok i managed to make it work. I've performed a factory reset (Settings->Backup & Recovery->Reset to factory settings), then I followed again the procedure suggested by MrTasselhof and this time it worked. I'm getting error -101 when I download an app but it is ok, this error is about downloading too much from the market and should disappear in some hours.

Bigger problem here... upon updating from the 2012-01-12 update to the new one my Ramos is rendered broken.

It remains off... refuses to turn on... and nothing I do with reset button or whatever revives it again.
