Hi,
I have WPN with the kewlguy mods on it. I have trouble with https sites because it doesn't accept any site's security certificates. One of the most problematic places is Android Market. I can't use the market. (I know that is a problem for most people.) I think a lot of it is because it won't accept the security certificate.

when using the browser, do you get a message that the security certificate was not valid, and have an option to continue, and if you continue, does the browser work then?
It is normal for these things not to have a complete list of trusted root certificates in them. Windows updates those periodically with windows update, on these devices, we are stuck with what was in them when they were cooked.
Just curious about the browser first. They we can move on to the market problem. They might be one in the same. I run Roebeets 1.1.0 which is a pre-KG mod but otherwise just about identical. I have to allow secure web sites with bad ceritifcates to work, but market works fine for me.

I guess the sites generally work. I wasn't able to download apps and I wondered if that was related to the SSL problem.
As for the Market, I solved my Market problem shortly after posting this. I went into services and turned off Google Talk. I tried to turn off Market, but it didn't seem to turn off. Anyway, after doing that, I got into the market and downloaded the first free app I saw, and the Market worked after that.
