By the way, this is a hardware question, not firmware development.

No keyboard, been on this board for a while and never saw anyone get any kind of keyboard to work. USB keyboards won't work because the USB port doesn't support host mode which means it can't supply power to a USB device. I've come across wi-fi keyboards from time to time, but never heard of anyone getting one to work.
As for upgrading, Android 2.0 is pretty much it. There are later versions of Android that some firmware modders have tried to get working, but they are alpha quality at best and not at all recommended for everyday use. Kewlguys' firmware seem to be he most popular firmware to load on the WPDN, but this is based on the existing Android FW with enhancements to apps.

You just said it was great in another thread 3 minutes ago. Are you connect via wifi? B&N will not work if you are not connected to wifi, other than that I don't have a clue as to why you cannot sign in.

Annie,
The market fix for no matching content is for SH20 firmware, not S10 which would be 9/23 FW from 2010. I'm not sure what would happened if it was flashed over a S10 firmware.
Plug it into the charger and try the end of a paperclip in the reset hole at the top of the novel. If that doesn't work, then you can either let the battery run down, or remove the bottom of the back and carefully unplug the battery. Do a search as there are good instructions on doing that to keep from damaging the plug.
After you get the unit off, you might try to get it to flash by putting a zipped firmware file on the external SD card, and holding volume up and power on for about 10 seconds after also pushing the reset with the end of a paperclip. If this doesn't work you may have to see if you can revive it throught ADB, android debugging bridge by pushing the recovery file over to it. Does your PC see the novel when plugged into usb?
