Personally, I still use Stock with KGs enhancements..
Works well and market (with the latest fix to the build.prop) is working...
Not cutting edge, but stable...

Honeycomb, ICS, gingerbread, cm aren't very good FW to keep on your pdn if you actually want to use it or are not developing for them. I Would stick to stock with the google stuffs enhancements unless you don't mind things being broke like rotation, sound, internet etc...

I agree. I am a noob when it comes to droids, but i still find KG's enhancements quite stable and reliable

I am so glad i finally found this forum. Yes i am new here and have been looking for a long time. I have just obtained 3 White PD'S and the first one works fine but i have been trying to root it but it just won't let me. I have put it back to stock factory firmware and it still will not let me root it.. I have found a few other forums that had different firmware but usually the links come to slatedroid so i joined. Well when i try to get it into recovery mode it won't or if i try to get it to read a sd card it starts to but then i just get the android and an exclamation mark.. Any way around this mess? I can connect it to my pc and read the internal files so i have a start but now stuck.. Sure hope i get more reply's here then it android tablet forum..
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Read the wiki on flashing from the SD card and then flash Kewlguy's enhanced 3/2 firmware by following the instructions in his first post. The main problems resulting in angry Andy are:
1) Unzipping the FW file, it must be left zipped and in the root of the external or internal SD card
2) Having more than one zip file on the internal and external SD card in the root
3) Having a bad FW file download, make sure it is the same size as what you downloaded
4) Recovery file looking for FW on the internal SD card instead of the external, try the flash from the internal without the external installed
5) Bad external SD card format, re-format the external card
