So, any opinions about the new Ramos?

I wish I did have something to post about the w13hd, I ordered 2 of them Dec24th (which was the same day Blue Devils had release show for their new line up) Cartgoo ran out of the first batch of the w13hd's prior to shipping my 2, now I am waiting for second batch to come in. Soon as DHL delivers mine and sons I will post some input on them. They look really sweet. I played with a Pandigital Novel (and hacks, thanks slatedroid) for a few weeks and decided to go with the Ramos as soon as I saw it. The guys at cartgoo assured me that these tablets are "most excellent" and the screen looks awesome....Come on DHL!!!!!!!!!

It's my understanding, from Ramos, that the W13HD has not yet been released! So don't know where Cartgoo got a batch from!

How much did you guys buy the W13HD for? Cheapest I can find is over $200 so I'm leaning toward the W6HD for $50 less.

They refunded my money for whatever reason, so I ordered 2 onda vi40's (16gb) and those are finally in shipment after CNY...wow buying a tablet is a pain!!!

I'm really confused about the specs on this, the W13 (non-HD) and the W16. Does anyone know with any certainty what they're going to be? I've seen the CPU listed as a dual core 1.2GHz amlogic, a 1GHz single-core amlogic (basically the same as the W6HD), or a 1.2GHz rockchip. The screen is either 1280x768 or 1024x768 (the W13 and W16 seem to be advertised as uniformly the latter, so the former makes sense for the HD version, but I have seen some people saying that's 1024x768 too). Memory is usually described as 1GB, but the pictures I've seen of the tablets showing stat screens suggest only 512MB. And in terms of difference between the W13 and the $10-more-expensive W16, the only one I can see from the spec sheet is that the W13 is slightly thicker and heavier.

As for release date, I've seen a long trail of different dates suggested, the latest being the 14th of this month. But emails to suppliers asking when they'll be able to ship are going unanswered...

I hope this all becomes clearer soon. At the moment I can't tell whether I want one of these or the Onda Vi30 deluxe. Could go either way, depending on what the actual spec turns out to be...

Coming to the conclusion that any supplier claiming the W13 or W16 is dual core is on drugs. The W21 is probably another matter (it appears to be based on the S5PV310, which is a dual 1.5GHz A9, although the W21 appears to only clock at 1.4GHz) but at $250+delivery it's a little beyond my budget. Shame.
