This is intended for SH20 firmware, please do not flash these files over older 2010 firmwares such as S10 or the 2010 open platform S20 firmware.

Edit 1/12/2012: There were over 600 downloads of the older files, but I decided to clean up this post and just have the one set. They are the same as the originals other than a name change and I zipped them as shared files because some people were having trouble with the old ones.

Here is a fix for the no matching content error for the market hack for the WPDN

Attached File  OP_MRKTFIX_1_0_PD_INX7E_ENG_6410POP.zip (154.88K)
Number of downloads: 382

I took the build prop from Kewlguy's 2.11 supplemental file, edited it to change the model and fingerprint as shown below, and made a flashable version. This will not make the other changes that the 2.11 supplemental file makes, so it is intended more for people who don't want those or who have already flashed the one from the first post of his thread and just need the market fix.

ro.product.model=PD_Novel
ro.build.fingerprint=google/passion/passion/mahimahi:2.1-update1/ERE27/24178:user/release-keys

After doing this you may have to set the date back 1 day and reboot to get market to update or go to settings/applications/manage applications/market and clear cache, force stop and reboot to get market to update.

EDIT: A couple of other posters have reported getting the market to update after this fix by using market on the PC to change the name of their device or by updating one of their apps they previously downloaded from market as those show in my apps. Obviously, the second way would only work if you previously had market, not sure about the first. I have not confirmed either of these methods.

Also, pay attention to the reboot part of my instructions, I see some having problems getting the market to update, only to say it later worked when they were on their WPDN. This may just be because of a reboot when they picked their Novel.

EDIT: I decided to go ahead and attach my file for Kewlguy's 2.11 supplement plus the market fix above.

Attached File  OP_SUPP_MRKTFIX_2_11_PD_INX7E_ENG_6410POP.zip (3.83MB)
Number of downloads: 568

Please report if you have any problems with it as I did not test it after removing the other things from Kewlguy's supplemental file as I left my WPDN at work, but it should work.

Thank you so much, Market is working great now !!!!

I had to set the date back one day and the time back a few hours but after trying it a couple of times it did work.

If it doesn't work right away, you may need to wait a day or so...not sure why, but it took about 24 hours before my market started working correctly after implementing the fix.

Appears to be working, maybe a mod will sticky the thread. Until then, I perhaps will just bump it once a day so it stays near the top.

Thank goodness!!! This is the only fix that has actually worked for me! :)
Is there by any chance a fix for the lag I now have.... I have the PD 3/2 FW with the the following KG enhancements: Combo #1, Flashlite and GAPPS.... Is there anything else that I should flash to my sons WPDN to get to run a little quicker and smoother?

Thanks for having such a GREAT forum.

It's probably the syncing that the google calendar is trying to do all the time slowing it down especially if you are seeing a circular sync arrow up in the notifications all the time. I have market only, and I disable the the calendar sync using the quick sync settings app.

Because the WPDN has a slow processor with slow graphics. The only thing that helps is the 2D/3D graphics enhancement and the DVM with JIT. You may already have those in the combo, check and see. The only other thing that helps is to make sure and use a task killer to kill all running apps before running memory intensive apps.

I'm not sure what I was doing wrong - granted I am a newbie with this Android OS. Whenever I flashed with this, it would remove all of the apps that were installed with the GAPPS version of KG's update, so I could never check the App Market. Finally I copied the BUILD.PROP file from the zip file in this thread and updated the file in KG's supplemental file. Then after rebooting and changing the date/time all is working wonderfully now!!

Thanks to all for the educational posts I have been reading the past few days to allow me to turn my new Pandigital 7" white into what appears to be a full Android tablet!!

I don't know if I can upload the final ZIP file from KG's supplemental that was updated with the BUILD.PROP file from this zip file. I just signed up today. If anyone else is haveing this same problem, I can provide more detailed directions - but be aware that I am really a newbie with this tablet.

Also, pay attention to the reboot part of my instructions, I see some having problems getting the market to update, only to say it later worked when they were on their WPDN. This may just be because of a reboot when they picked their Novel back up.

I tried flashing this zip file but get exclamation Andy. looked for other flash files, none, but do have a zip that's unrelated. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
